00 Lightning v 03 350Z 6 spd (VIDEO)

I did a couple of runs with one of my friends last night who has a 03 350Z 6spd w/ intake and exhaust. Car is faster than I thought....Heres the link to the video...

What mods do you have? Wierd how you killed him the first run and then got smoked three straight. Next time ask him if he wants any part of the Z06! Doubt it.

The first race was like a 20mph kick...the rest were 60 and up kicks.

He wants no part of the Z06..he already knows. ;-)

I drove a 350z and just couldn't pull the trigger. It just doesn't have the Balls of an SVT. After 60 it just can't lay down the acceleration.

I actually tried to like the 350, I guess mainly for quality issues, but kept comming back to ford for the shear power.

If the 350 keeps up with you, it has to be at lower speeds, and your truck aint exactly light. tell if I'm wrong.

Actually, it was nice of the Z to spot him: 1.9L, 2 cylinders and an Eaton Roots type SC (or 73hp and 160lb-ft)

That said, it'd be nice if Nissan went back to producing FI cars again.

I could care less if I win or lose. I just love racing.

The runs were back to back btw and in the fourth race I hit the gas when I blew the horn and in the other races I had waited till after I blew the horn to hit the gas. The 350 does have a little better topend charge as you can see clearly in the fourth video as he pulls away very slowly. :rockon:

I am not impressed with the 350... Frankly, I dont see how he pulled you. I am positive my brothers 02 GT will pull a 350z...

No doubt. The g35 is just a tick slower than the Zcar. They just DO NOT have the grunt I would want.
