Hi all. Finally got the driver's side head off my '96, to fix a failed helicoil repair for the ol' blown-out-plug defect. I need to ream out the hole and put a Time-Sert in there. Meanwhile, though, would anyone like to weigh in on the condition of this engine? Obviously the surfaces are caked...

In the process of investigating a top end knock, after i took off my lower intake I peeked into the intake valves and I was pretty impressed with the first one I saw, as it is all original and has 170,000 miles on it and I use seafoam ever 3 k for the last year...... I did however get a check...

I recently sold my 66 coupe and have been looking at Mach 1's and Cobra's. A car came up yesterday but is quite a drive, so here's the story and please give opinions. Please keep in mind I'm not a mechanic. 2-owner triple black 1998 Cobra convertible, 115k on body, new topend. Story is buddy...
