I don't have one but I saw a Boss 302 with dealer plates, on this site, run 12.3@117 and I thought, that is a fast car, looks great and probably handles just as good. Impressive IMO. I had the chance to buy one, misses out.
...now this may be a happy dynojet but I've done all my dyno and tuning with this tuner. He actually street tunes and fine tunes on the dyno. His dyno is in bas shape, outside, doesn't sue a fan but who knows who he has it set up.
Anyway, on to my car. It is a 2015 Mustang 6 speed auto...
My 2012 GT was not good in the handling department and my 2015 GT was awful in the handling department as well IMO. I dont race anymore but had to fix stuff, like body roll, wheel hop, for the street. Better tires would have been a good start. I am interested in the 18 though and read that...
My car has been down for a while, the stock tq converter, specifically the stator vanes and the transmission pump shred itself....while just driving normal. I think I was at 25mph when it happened. So I opted to get a Circle D 4c converter (3800 stall), a new trans pump, etc. Still has same...
My 2015 Mustang GT is at the shop, it basically stop moving forward on me....no reverse either. There were no signs of impending failure either. It is an auto with CAI, GT350 IM, long-tubes, no cates and custom tune. Now the shop believes it is a broken stator but not sure. There was no...
Good run and honestly surprised it was so close. The C7 is no joke. Not sure if my heavy, boat like 2015 auto could do the same. Though I did run a Caillac with the LS7 but a C7 it ain't. My car is an A6 with CAI, GT350 IM, long-tubes back, 430 at wheels, pulls to 8k rpm.
So my 2015 A6 was my first auto in my mustang and corvette history. I dont race anymore, at least for now, but I felt the shifts were a bit slow. My local tuner is excellent and shifts, be it auto or paddle, are very aggressive and quick. Now my auto makes 430rwhp SAE with full exhaust, cai...
Tuner has it right now, I want the surging gone in between 2-3k RPM. It isn't awful but it's there and most time spent cruising is in that rpm range and though it happens only on accelerating in that range, it is still annoying. Hopefully he can get a few more ponies out her. The car will...
Stock TB. Still has some slight surging issues between 2-3k rpm so it goes back for some tuning in a few days. I think we can pick up some extra power too.
My car is a 6 speed auto with 3.55 gears, mods are JLT, GT 350 IM, 1 3/4" long-tubes, x-pipe with no cats and the local Rick Fast tune. My goal, requirement if you will, was no large loss of low end torque and no surging. Rick said there is some surging if I get on it hard but it actually...
Now I normally don't street race, I'm to old for this shit and it's dangerous but once in a while, an asshat brings it on himself. This was not a good day for me to begin with, I've been extremely sick, vomitting, etc so I was on my way to the doc. So 0n the way, there was a newer BMW 335i...
...nothing wrong with the Mak at all, I just wanted a bit more. My car is a 2015 A6 with optional 3.55 gears, a JLT, 1 3/4" long-tubes, no cats and tune. I don't put much stock into dyno's except to see how your tune is doing; it was the same dyno I used for both mods, same tuner, just...
...not sure if I'll keep it, I might just want the long-tubes on my car, like my 2012 GT had. The dyno gains weren't anything big, did best in the mid-range, 8-10 rwhp/tq peak, maybe 4-5 average. You get what you pay for and this falls in line. Peak gains on hp were down slightly up top but...
...I still want long-tubes but other projects are taking priority (gun projects :) ) so I thought I'll just try the off-road, something I haven't done in a while. So, I ask, any experience with this mod? The smell bad? I remember my 1995 Mustang GTS I had years ago had an off-road H and it...
So, had my car tuned today, road tune then put on the dyno. Only mod is a JLT with future mods full exhaust (long-tubes, x-pipe with cats, etc), like i had on my old 2012 Mustang GT, C6 Vette. I simply like the sound and the average tq gains across the RPM range help the car get up and go...
....I don't post very much anymore but thought why not, got a new stang to replace my 2012 Mustang GT. The 2012 had a C&L CAI, full Kooks exhaust (1 3/4" headers, x-pipe with cats, axle-back) and AED tune. It made 420rwhp/400rwtq SAE on a 4th gear dyno run. Maybe 5th would have been slightly...
...not a skeptic anymore :coolman: This isn't my first stang nor my first car I've modded. I've had a 1995 Mustang GTS with h/c/i/supercharger, an 03 Cobra with 2.8" pulley, Stieg Stage whatever blower and a C6 with FAST intake, VR, custom cam, full exhaust, tune that I used to run at the...
I normally don't street race but in this case, I had to bring it. This individual has been seen a few times near my house driving like a punk in his M3, through a residential area by my wife actually. So today, on my way into work I see this blue M3 coming up the highway, passes me doing...
As for mods, I have a cai, tune, Kooks 1 3/4" mid-lengths, x-pipe with cats, axle back and Steeda tune. I will say the power is probably not being maximized with the Steeda tune but it's safe. Anyway, for now, no racing so I only get on it when I can and when I really get on it, the clutch...
...though not really sure why I'm posting as the post dyno session didn't work out so well. Corpus Christi is a crap city with only two dyno's and neither are very good. Long story short, operator couldn't get the lap top to record any of the runs :dw:. Just as well, it had to be 110 degrees...
