I was hoping to stay NA, but its always more expensive than adding FI. Looks like cams and short runner vs. blower. First would be roughly 2500 installed, net about 375 rwhp. Second would be blower, probably 4k installed if I find some deals, but 4-450rwhp. Decisions decisions, cam lope does...
So just lookin for some ideas here. Id like to get a set of cams, and I was told just getting a set of 03/04 heads would work on top of that. Im not looking to go forced air at this time, just pump up the volume a little bit. My buddy just put a 500 hp motor in his trans am, think he put...
I have 285's in the rear, used to have spacers on them a long time ago, they did rub with spacers. Im guessing 315 would rub, but ive never had tires that big on mine. A lot of guys have tho. I believe my rear is dropped a bit lower than yours tho.
Hey, Im pretty sure Ive decided on the DSS alum ds for my 01 Cobra. Looks like I missed the Vday sale, any line on whether the potential tax return sale will have anything that might help me out?
Not one person I have talked to said that by switching to aluminum that the car didn't stop shaking so bad. Also nobody has dispute that Bruces' lowering mount on the rear dif also helps reduce vehicle vibration.
Math has dick to do with this, nobody is talking about rotational mass, hp gains...
I thought everyone did it for the same reason.... to help curb the high speed vibration.. rotational mass lol.. im not new.
Same reason im getting the rear dif cover w/ lowering mount from ftbr. Im surprised not one but two people tried to throw sarcasm around this thread... appreciate your input.
I have koni yellows, no issues. they are a bit more expensive, they go on sale about once a year and you can nab them for about 600.
mm cc plates as previsously stated are the only option there
springs, I have eibach pro. im about to switch to h&r just to see what happens, which will probably...

So Im leaning on that driveshaft shop one, but I don't know much about them, a ton of good rvws on that sr performance(axel exchange) but...
I have mac lt and mac o/r h, still stock catback but I had flowmaster delta 40's welded in place of the stock mufflers. Many compliments, I love it, low, throaty, old school mean. The only thing now is to add some cams to give it a little more lope sound lol. if you want that low rumbling wob...
Maybe this is a wifes tale?? But I would never touch my car with dawn or any other soap of the such, dish or bar soap. Isnt that supposed to be terrible for your car, or am I mistaken? Ive also seen posts over at autogeek about using dawn also. confuses me.
inlate.. but for what its worth, I just clayed this weekend with a chemical guys medium clay bar, and this car is smooth as glass man. I mean, its nice. I don't know if ill ever go back to fine grade clay.
- I also used just a meguires quick detail spray I had laying around, worked just fine. I...
