The heads and cams will support 1000+whp. I think the limiting factor on a built motor will be the factory intake. Even that though enough boost at it and I don't think 1k will be an issue.
Going to be a good looking rig. I wish our 22 badlands had been delayed a few more weeks. They announced the option to convert orders to a raptor just after mine went into production. They were about 20k cheaper then too.
I'm assuming the pictures aren't current. That dealer is only ~20 minutes from me. We've had a hand full of storms come through with some serious hail in the past few weeks. Know of a few people that had cars totaled out. I was lucky enough to only get golf ball sized with minimal damage but...
Don't get me wrong it was still very cool to experience. My sister was about 2 hours south at a family friends farm today and the pictures/videos of totality are just not comparable to the real thing. Probably didn't help they were day drinking and riding sxs's all day too.
I was in the path of totality for 17 and assumed being ~98% this year would be 98% the same. Boy was I disappointed. Should have taken the day to drive a few hours south. Completely different experience.
If I ever have the opportunity to see 100% again I'm making the trip.
Did you get anyone to take a look yet? I assume it's this car? Log into Facebook
It's only about a half hour from me and I would love to take a look at it but I honestly don't know when I would have time in the near future. I can say hpj puts out some stellar cars and I wouldn't think twice...
It's not often anymore I see a video online that takes my breath away. I had a sinking gut feeling when watching this. Hopefully traffic load was super light for the time of day.
That's a cheap non dampened underdrive pulley that uses the factory pulley bolted to it for harmonic dampening. I would remove and run a March 1158 if you want to keep it under driven
I used a pump up sprayer hooked to the oil filter adapter when I built mine years ago. Won't build pressure but will get oil to all the important bits.
Has anyone tried adding carseat latch tethers to a 94-98 car? Been wanting to try putting my 2.5 year old in the back for short drives but was hesitant since there were no latch tethers for his front facing carseat.
I happened to be at the Junkyard getting some stuff for my xj and saw a bracket...
No, the only test related result was total. I didn't specify anything other than total test level. Probably my fault for not being well enough informed when asking for the labs. I like my pcp but he doesn't strike me as necessarily being the most versed with test.
Just got my most recent labs back and my total test came in at 381.00 ng/dL. Down from 496 4 years ago which was the last time I had it tested.
I'll be 35 in August, 6'2" ~250lb and 20ish% bf. I eat pretty well, work out consistently and all other labs look fine. I suspected my test levels may...
If you would prefer a new pump LMR carries new Lares pumps which carry a lifetime warranty. They are made in Minnesota and aluminum bodied for a slight reduction in weight. I was in the same situation as you last year wanting a new motocraft unit. I took a gamble on the Lares pump and have been...
I had something similar happen on my car when I had the dash out recently. l pinched the glove box light which was intermittently grounding causing all sorts of issues and blew a few fuses. Not sure if that had anything to do with the alternator rich. Didn't notice the alternator wasn't working...
I emailed LMR a few years ago about producing a replica 03/04 mirrors or ideally a 94-98 import mirror. With the prices they go for used I am sure they could sell cheaper and make a killing.
I don't have an 03 but I believe there is a check valve on the vacuum canister circuit to operate the hvac controls. This allows them to work when the engine is under low or no vacuum and would cause issues being used with a map sensor. Try tapping into the yellow vacuum line in the picture you...
I don't know what the crash supports are made from but they destroy drill bits. I chewed up a few nice ones mounting things on the front support. I sarted blowing a hole in it with my torch and cleaning up with a burr.
If you're looking for an upgrade and slight weight savings without spending quite as much as a lithium costs look into Odyssey AGM batteries. I put an Odyssey AGM 28 in my 96 and have been very happy with it. It ran off of just the batter for a whole day cause some dummy forgot to hook up the...
