Did you ever get this figured out? It's something I've been battling for a while with the exact same symptoms as you, except I'm using the rear slots. I'm so close to just selling the k member, turbos, and coilovers off and throwing the factory k member back in the thing. I don't want to do...
They were comparing its towing characteristics to the Super Duty with over twice as much torque so yeah. I'm taking it with a grain of salt though since my 2012 F150 with a 5.0 (and SCT tuner w/5* tunes) performs better hauling a 20' gooseneck loaded with my 35 horse cabbed tractor, 900lb box...
What's your price for the 600? I see ARP main and head studs are extra; what are you using without that option? Which of the options would you more highly recommend?
Awesome, thanks! I'm looking at a couple options, one of them being the t56, so this could be very useful knowledge in my future.
How are you liking the swap?
I am finally feeling good enough after my shoulder surgery to get back to wrenching on my car again!
I was making good progress on the passenger side front end until I went to start putting parts back in. The Moog control arms I purchased appear to be 1/4" more narrow than the factory arms...
I found a creek today, running down from the passenger side of the crossover tube. I'm assuming it's either the gasket in between that Ford doesn't sell or the plastic beneath is cracked. New is on the way, but I'm assuming it's only going to happen again down the road. Does anyone other than...
I'll snap a picture when I get home to make it more clear.
I took the seat off the rack and took it in to Fastenal a few minutes ago. The nut is an M12-1.75 if anyone else ever needs a replacement.
I picked up an 03 gt a few days ago. The PO installed a couple of good looking raxd seats in the front. I have no need for them and am installing the original leather seats. The problem I'm running into is that he apparently didn't put the nut for the belt connector, the part the strap buckle...
I think I'll drift into the parking lot, right through the front doors then drift up and down the aisles of the theater until I get to the bottom so I can park and get front row seats. :D

When I put in my clutch I hear a clicking sound that sounds exactly like valve tap, and when it's out and I'm driving I can hear a loud high pitched whirring sound. I'm thinking it's the tob, any other guesses? Good thing I'm planning on a c4 soon anyways I guess.

Would anyone happen to know of any good machine shops in Washington state? I'm going to be stripping my 5.0 HO down soon to send to a machine shop to get bored .030 over, aligned, baked, new cam bearings, freeze plugs, etc to install a 347 stroker kit and I'm looking for somewhere that's not...
WTB: 79-93 Stang
I'm looking to buy a 79-93 Mustang to drag with next season. I'm looking for a beater, just need a good frame basically with minimal rust. So anyone out there that wants to sell please post up for me.

Does anyone know what the difference is in flow through the heads of a 98 Cobra and a 04 Cobra? What other major differences between the two engines besides forged internals and one being aluminum and one iron?
Rob
I didn't think they existed but I was proven wrong. I called Saleen yesterday and they called me back today with what years and the production numbers:
1996 11 produced, 4 coupes, 7 convertibles
1997 18 produced, 13 coupes, 5 convertibles
1998 35 produced, 21 coupes, 14 convertibles
1999...
 What is involved and what parts do you need other than the M112 Eaton and the intake manifold off of a 03 Cobra to install it on a 1998? I'm sure this is a common question, if someone can direct me to another post, that would probalby be less of a headache for everyone.
Rob :burnout:
We are going to use seafoam on my friend's recently purchased 1998 black cobra convertible with 86000 miles. I saw in another post that someone tried out the seafoam on some carbon to see what it actually does and that it turned it to sludge. Obviously this has to all blow out of the exhaust and...
