What are the best shift points on a basically stock 2001 GT? Ive been shifting at 5200 where the flywheel horse supposedly peaks. Any suggestions? I hear some say that closer to 6 grand is better. Thanks in advance.

Starting to work on my GT, just ordered MAC cold air and was looking at some 3:73 gears. Tried to ask the Ford dealership but they dont know their asses from a hole in the ground. What kind of hardware will I need or is it even practical for me to try?
