That was our opinion as well. Even in black we just could not get past the design of the rear. We test drove many 1SS/2SS and 4 different ZL1's. While the ZL1 anytime power was addicting the overall experience felt numb compared to the GT350. It finally came down to the ZL1 1LE or GT350 then...
The radius of the R looks to be too large along with the 0 as mentioned above. If the piece could be exactly replicated to match Fords I would be interested.
From what I have found the deals are on 16 non track pack cars which most do not want. Used 16 (non track pack cars) are coming up in the 40's. Local dealer had over 12 last year including a new 16 yellow w/black stripe with track pack that started at 70k and finally sold last week under MSRP...
Thank you! I'm hoping they will play nice with the GT350 pricing. Local WA dealers have dropped there ADM's on the RS's. Currently 500 under while there still 3k to 20k ADM's on the standard GT350's.
I know of 2 Chevy dealerships selling both the standard ZL1's and ZL1 1LE's for msrp plus any rebates offered. That's there stand on any model no matter how limited. I have yet to find any Ford dealers that have the same ethics. If there are please share.
ZL1 1LE msrp 69k price is without any discounts. I know of 2 dealerships taking orders with a gaurantee of no additional (ADM). Why can't Ford dealers take a stand to do the right thing and promote no (ADM) for there vehicles????
Finally driven both new 17 GT350 (non R) (electronics package) and 17 ZL1 (manual). Street driven combination of city traffic, freeway and some winding roads. Roughly 30 minutes in each with the wife.
Engine sound goes to the GT350. ZL1 while in sport or track mode (loudest settings) was...

Note: My current 4 wheel fun ride is a modified Infinity G37s VQ V6 with similar high rev power band...
Great post as I have been waiting for the GT350 market to get to msrp or below since beginning of 2016. Once the 1LE Camaro came out and matched the GT350 performance for 44k it grabbed my attention but the exterior looks, interior space of the Camaro fall short to the GT350. Fast forward to...
Local dealership has 2 gt350's (blue, grey), both track pack, both asking 17,500 over msrp. There Blue one arrived with a bad engine that the dealership replaced.
I'm not interested in that horrendous of price gouging but more of the reliability issues.
Anyone heard of similar engine...
