It is not a crack. If it was from impact, the tower would be deformed. The wouldn't fix dented a tower and not fix a huge crack. Also, the crack looks 1/2" wide at the widest point. If the metal cracked, you would be able to see thru it at that angle. Not gray, as if the shock tower was made of...
