Had the pleasure of watching a 2020 gt500 run three 10.6's at atco today. Shot one of the runs on my camera.

Have the lower driver side vinyl white stripe from ford for a 2013 or 2014 gt500. This is the stripe that goes from the front fender to the end of the door. It's unused. $40 plus shipping

New gen running less than mid 10’s stock with an auto and way better tires is disappointing compared to the previous gen.

Best numbers are run at those tracks but they are still useful for comparing between cars. If you want to see a cars ultimate potential that’s where and when you go. I’ve run my best times during normal test and tunes at atco.

Disagree with this 100%. Put a tune and some tires on this car and its not hard at all to drag race. The 1-2 shift can be bitchy but I never shifted full throttle and had good results from the car. It was dead quiet at first but a few hard launches at the track made it whine enough to drive me nuts. Something changes the setup after launching it.

Paid about $700 in labor at a ford dealer in nj for labor only. New Jersey is expensive though. Be prepared for the whine.

Smoked the stock clutch once I got a tune. Bought the rxt twin and ran about twenty times or so and that start slipping. Replaced it with another rxt twin and launched more conservatively. Did that a few times a added gears. A few launches after that decided to sell the car after the gear whine...

Drag radials and a tune are needed. Without the tune clutch protection kills the launch.

Depending on the height of the wheel/tire combo he's using , the clutch may last a bit longer than using the stock rims with drag radials. My second rxt held up way better with 3.73's but the whine almost made it not worth getting gears

The car is capable of 10's with just a tune and DR's with the right track conditions.

Auto challenger Hellcats trapped about the same as my stock Gt500 did at the same track and weather conditions. The cars should perform almost the same from a roll. As for the original post-if the op had a 2 second head start before the charger nailed the gas then it would explain everything.

The first set of pilots I had were fine at any speed. Got a flat that wasn't fixable so bought a pair of used pilots same size and they wobbled at any high speed acceleration.
