You took them off and polished them? Or while they were still on the car ?

How long did it take too? I took off my tailpipes last year and spent about 3 hours on them and they improved but I felt like I could of done a better job

I believe i started at around 9am and had them finish and mounted by 5pm. I think mine could've came out a little better i was kind of rushing the process, I did a 600, 800, 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit, some spots probably could've used a deeper sanding but by noon i was already tired lol.

oh man no 3.0 swap? Are you going with a new setup or keeping what you have ?

Keeping the 2.9 I have. I took my GFs kid out for the first time and he was sold.

Raced a cyber truck in his first ever Terminator ride. What’s the chances.

I just don’t have the time or room right now. Garage is full of shit.

Saw my first cyber truck in real life on a delivery hauler last week. They are strange, not my cup of tea.

Got mine back out on the road yesterday. Worked out a couple small bugs today and it’s just about ready for a retune/dyno.View attachment 1838428View attachment 1838429View attachment 1838430
Great photos and an awesome Terminator. When do you go for your new tune?

Got my car inspected today. She’s quote unquote legal now. Few younger guys at the garage checking out the car. Never seen a real terminator before. They were impressed.
I'm always amazed at even hearing today that there are car fans out there who have never seen a Terminator. I'm not at all surprised to hear that there were impressed with your Cobra. She's a beauty....AND a beast!

Finished the install of the return fuel system in my brothers car today. Still need to finish the EGR delete, but ran into a little issue with getting the fitting out of the manifold. I hope it’s not going to turn into a header swap too.

Need to get the correct belt for it and then time for the clutch swap. Then she will be ready for a tune.

I’ll probably try to schedule it sometime towards the end of May, I want to make sure the car is 100% ready for it.
Looks great! Specs / mods? What upper is that? I’m running a 3.0 and see between 24-25lbs of boost

Thanks, I’ll make a thread about it one of these days. I’m running a stock lower with a 3.125 griptec upper, I’m driving it on my old gen4 2.9 tune so I haven’t really opened it up yet.

I originally pulled the motor in the winter to do a BMR k member, ARH long tubes and ARP head studs. That ended up snowballing a bit, tore it down to the short block, heads got sent out for seals and a valve job. Got a melling oil pump, cometic head gaskets, new timing chains, all new gaskets, and solid motor mounts. While all that was going on I also decided to get the gen 5 3.0.

Fuel system is the same from my old gen 4 setup which is e85 pass thru return that I pretty much built myself with 1050x injectors.

McLeod RXT clutch, stock trans, FTBR IRS. The rest of the suspension is Maximum motorsports, I would’ve went with their k member but I didn’t want to relocate my oil filter.

I mean, if the trans is out for the clutch you might as well do the headers since you'll have so much more room. :)

HAHAHAHA. So much room for activities.

Good news, it already has a tubular K member, so its not the end of the world. It is more about how long to get said headers. I'd probably do Bassani Mid-lengths if I could find them. He has a Bassani X pipe so it would be the most cost effective way to add headers.
