Post here too …

I’ve been watching the hell out this video over the last few weeks. I recently became the second owner of a 2001 Bullitt with 3500 Miles on it. Still geeking out over it!

Posted details anywhere? That’s a brand new car.

Don't see much love for 01 Cobras. Bought mine new and still have it; has an Eaton on it now though. Was able to beat their 1/4 run here by a good amount stock back in July of 02. Went 13.3 @ 105.

I watched that video twice. I well remember the 2001 Cobra in particular, and being tested with the Bullitt made it even more interesting. Back in the day, both of these Mustangs were big news.

Fortunate to own both at the same time for a few years.
- Both pretty much stock and were very reliable and fun to drive.
- Bullitt was raw to drive. It was designed/built with some track style suspension components.
- Cobra pulled harder and was more comfortable to drive.
- Cobra IRS had some to do with that over Bullitt SRA.
- Only issue with Cobra was ignition key turned very hard. I replaced several parts, but was never able to identify the cause. I need to make a follow-up post. Still got the pics.
- Only issues with Bullitt:
* Minor oil leak on top of block. Never did solve.
* Degradated rag joint in steering sector. Installed Borgeson solid steering shaft. Simple fix. I'd bet there are hundreds of Bullitts out there with very spongy steering wheels.
- Installed Borla Stingers on Bullitt. That’s how it should have came from the factory, instead of Marvin tuned exhaust.
- Also installed JLT CAI on Bullitt.
- Today getting some of the parts for either car is an issue.
- Between the two, Bullitt was more fun to drive. Because Bullitt.
