A guy that lives down the road from me owns #3. It was the jet propulsion model that was restored by Dave Kindig. Rumor was that he paid 5 Million for it. I have seen it several times in person.

The one Kindig restored was sold on Barrett-Jackson a couple of years ago. Sold for 4 million as a charity auction.

It was more than a few years ago as I have seen it multiple times.

Dennis Albaugh from Ankeny Iowa is who owns it. It is the same Kindig #3.

As I recall, the 4M didn’t meet reserve at the auction and he purchased after for some undisclosed figure. That is where I heard it was 5 million.

Google Dennis Albaugh Futureliner and an article on CruzinUSA shows up With tons of pictures.

Buddy use to do this with his Civic sedan, he swore by it and that he never spooked deer with it but with his truck he would. Bomb dogs would go nuts on it though when he would get searched on base lol.
