That quote had to be wrong... that's 3-4x more than what it would cost here in BC Canada... the land of getting financially raped...

My 2015 Ram 3500 is $120/month for full coverage

2012 CTS-V comprehensive only, 2017 Volt full coverage.......$106 total per month. I'll be down around $50 per month for both when the Volt is paid off.

So for shits and giggles I got a quote from progressive for changing my address since Im "moving" to ohio and they quoted me a drop from $720 Im paying now to just $216 for a 6 month policy. That comes out to $36 a month instead of $120 a month Im paying now.

I asked her why and she said Louisiana is one of the highest.

Welcolme to Ohio! Living in a suburb of Cleveland I insure a 2020 Blazer RS, 2021 Colorado ZR2, and my 03 Cobra full coverage on everything for $500 a half. Reletively cheap place to live / insure

Probably because insurance companies pay out so much for hurricane damages in Louisiana. That's my guess.
