I won't even dare ask what you paid for it. LOL. 5 miles! So it's brand, spanking new. Congratulations! That is one sick SUV. The seats are a leather/suede combo, right? I like the color. How often do you intend to drive it?
haha I admittedly paid 5k over MSRP. Which in my eyes, is a win given the current market. The seats are brown leather, and brown accent under the door handle, which has grown on me. the rest of the interior is black, which I think makes it look a lot better. if it was all brown I probably wouldn't be a fan.

I work from home so I put maybe 6k miles on a vehicle per year. It's mostly for trips out of the city so I won't feel guilty putting miles on the shelby. That and I get the feeling with the direction the EPA is headed that we're at the end of an era regarding performance vehicles. I have a feeling everything high performance will go electric before we know it. I wanted to snag up a few cars and hold onto em for a long time.

Did the shop correct the water pump & thermostat gasket issue?
That's on my 93 hatch. No, I told them it can wait until all the snow and salt are off the roads. Who knows, I may fix it myself.

Welcome to the club. I've had my TH for 2.5 years, no complaints so far. Highly recommend the JLT CAI and the Borla catback if you're up for modding.

I can't think of anything I would change on the exterior of your GT-500, Tob! Nothing!

When I first seen a pic of your car I thought it was silver. Almost still looks like it to me. Iconic silver is my favorite color of choice for the gt500. Not a fan of white cars, but this is the exception. Anyway, that is one sharp looking car man!

The entire wing assembly is a Multimatic unit for a GT4. The only thing it shares with the CFTP are the dogbone bolt supports mounted on the underside of the decklid. The airfoil contours are similar to the CFTP wing. End plates are adjustable and the wing itself has a wide range of AOA adjustment as opposed to the CFTP choice of only 2 position settings.

I really, really liked the Race Red on my GT350. It didn't seem right to me to then get a RR GT500 (holy cow it would have been sinister though) so I considered the other red available. While waiting for my order with Nick to move to production, I traveled down to Florida with George from MGW to drop off his Audi R8 on trade and then pick up a new '19 ZR1 Corvette. As soon as I saw it on the showroom floor I knew I had to have the black roof on a white car combination that it had so I called Nick and he changed the color for me. Something about the white/black contrast just does it on the GT500.

After I got the car I went to Charlotte for the Track Attack. They had pretty much every color in the parking lot at the same time which made for a great comparison. Holy shit did the silver ever stand out and outclass the rest. When I finish the time machine I'm gonna change the color yet again.

Just got the 90 vert home. It has more paint flaws than I knew about. Some can likely be removed with a paint correction. And some can't.

But this is going to be a driver. Body is straight and no rust.

Probably remove the 1 piece headlights tonight, order up a few stuff. Like factory air intake, new vert cover boot, ect.

I owned a red 93 LX convt 5.0 5spd. years ago. Had alot good times and memories in that car. Always be fond of the foxbody.
Awesome! I've always been a foxbody guy. Haven't had one since 09. Then in 2019 to the present we now have 3..

It's not a requirement if using collector plates. Then only 1 plate is required. We'll probably go that route. But like the hatch, it's a factory plate bracket that's bolted into the bumper... :(
