1969 AMC AMX
The AMX (390) always intrigued me back in the day. It held its own on the street but couldn't really compete with the big block Vette and other big block muscle cars of that time. One of my favorites, though, along with the SC/Rambler & Rebel Machine.

My dad lived in Farmington Hills, outside Detroit. He and my grandfather had a lot of GTO's. All of them were modified, even after buying them from these guys.....

Royal!! Yep, their GTOs were legendary. I never owned a GTO, but our first car was a dark blue, 1965 Lemans with the 326 engine. That was such a good looking car. We bought it in 1968 and drove from CT to Long Beach, CA in it. Good times!
