If you got $10k and are trying to avoid another basket case, I'd stay far away from auctions.

You need to find something we'll sorted out and go over it, not just try and score a "steal" on a E55 only to hand a laundry list of broken expensive problems.

Also, home owners doesn't cover property theft since it was off your property?

Sorry to hear your Cobra was stolen. That really sucks. What really got my attention, though, was your comment that your WiFi and the WiFi s in your neighborhood were jammed by the thieves. I'm having security cameras installed this morning. I'm going to have to ask the installer about this. Sounds like it is too easy to jam or blur a network.

I hope you find a replacement car that you're going to be happy with.

Get PoE Ring cameras installed.

I'm sorry your Cobra was stolen, thieves are getting very good at what they do. I read that they even use flatbed tow trucks and neighbors just think the car is going in for repair and no-one suspects anything.

America is not the same place it was years ago and the justice system many times just gives them a slap on the wrist. I live in Ca. and calling the police for a theft is just a waste of time, in just a few hours that stolen vehicle is in Mexico.

I would look for a nice used older Mustang as they are cheap and easy to repair, also the parts are so much cheaper than a German car. You will pay big for Mercedes and BMW parts.

Check earlier footage! At some point they had to get a VIN # to program a key. Is Ford the only place that can program a key?

Any pictures of the car? Mods? Will lookout for a part out.

My $ 0.02 I have a GPS tracker in mine. 2 week+ battery and on a GSM network. They might steal it but I'll know when and where it's going. 30 second updates once it moves more than 100 yards from my house. Can hardwire it too plus the internal battery. Just advice for others. It's a steal at ~$100 a year in service. Great peace of mind. Texts you when it moves too.

As a daily driver like OP stated, Im sure he had insurance. Insured only to drive that is. Probably just liability which would not cover theft or loss. Many people do that on older cars that are a daily. But that sucks to have it ripped from you. Sorry to hear that man. Makes me wanna get a tracking system now!

I'd try calling the homeowners insurance provider.

could probably get a nice 01 cobra. No supercharger, but has in IRS. Let us know if you find anything out OP. I assume you contacted the PD and there is an ongoing investigation? Perhaps you could hire a PI.

Got a link to the company you use? Very interested.

Not sure if the service has gone up over the years but still a steal in my book for the service.

Says $25 a month but I paid way less buying in bulk back in the day. Honestly I'd even pay the $25 a month.

Interface is a little dated but serves my purpose. There are a few services that use the same/similar tracker but I've had no complaints with this company.

Yep. Hasn't been around since a half hour after he started the thread (Sunday at 4:35 PM). He asked what people thought about his plan, and then POOF.

he's at the beach
