^^^Totally agree. I had a red 95 SHO the last year of that style and used to love playing around with all the quick rides during that period. One of my favorite cars.

Nice vid. I remember test driving one. It felt like a V8 and drove well, but the styling just didn't do it for me. I ended up buying a Mazda 626 Turbo.

My daily....It’s fun. Every milf with a modern v6 accord can outrun it. Still healthy though... ran a 15.3 @ 96 the other day with an old G-tech meter.

So I know this is a gen 2 (my family ha one of each gen), but I spotted this last Saturday at the Revs Institute in Naples. The irony is that I was only in FL for a day, from MA, and this car was sold in MA (Bonnell)

The 89/90 were the fastest, started getting heavier after that. In 89 they could outrun the 5.0 LX and Mustang GT.

In 89 they were the 3rd fastest sedan built. BMW Merc each had one faster at over 3 times the cost.

Owned a black ‘89 and blue ‘94, both 5-speeds.
Absolutely a fun DD and an amazing motor. The seats and the adjustable side bolsters were great too!

In 1986 a buddy of mine worked at local Ford dealer, so I decided to buy a brand new Taurus. After all, it was Motor Trend car of the year and won lots of other awards. It was the first car (so I've heard) that used customer feedback for many of its design and comfort features.

It was a great car for a few months, then things started breaking. That thing must have been towed back to the dealer almost 10 times. Engine popped, trans popped, three fuel pumps, etc, etc, it was worst car I ever owned, LOL.
