Quick Shoutout to Malcolm

I've bugged Malcolm in the past for some tuning advise and he answered my questions without asking for anything in return. Since I was in the market for some fuel upgrades I hit him up for a Fore system. With more questions of course. He answered everything I threw at him and when I placed my order he gave me a great deal.

Fast forward to yesterday I find out I got scammed in the transaction for my injectors. Nothing I can do since it was so long ago. I shot him an email last night asking about injectors. I got an email back this morning with a reply. We actually sent a few messages back and forth. I really didn't expect to hear back until Monday. But I ended up ordering injectors from him as well.

For those wondering I went with a Fore L2 and ID1050X's.

Malcolm is a standup guy! I’ve asked him so many questions I feel guilty! I have ordered a bunch of stuff through him and will be getting tuned through him as well when the time comes.

How much power are the 1050's worth? I'm thinking either those or the 1300's for my setup. Maxing out my 80's at 50+ psi base pressure.

I've seen numbers all over but who knows how accurate they are. I see you have a built motor so I'd just go 1300s.

Great thread. Malcolm is the man and did a phenomenal job remote tuning my car. Ordered some injectors through him too and he got me the best deal he could. Answers any question I throw at him. Blessed and honored to have guys like this represent the forum

I honestly don't know. I was originally planning on Bosch 105's, but these are a better injector. And I've seen some guys take the 105's to close to 1000hp. And there's only 37cc between the two injectors. So being easier to tune and they should handle my goal of mid 700's easily.

Malcolm is awesome, very knowledgeable, honest as can be and always willing to help. Unfortunately for him he gets the short end of our friendship as he knows way more than me and is a much bigger help to me than I can be to him.

Malcolm is everything you said and more. He helps unconditionally because he likes to help. If the roles were reversed, I'm sure you'd help unconditionally as well. A lot of great folks here.

Bought my fore level 2 and 1050's from him as well. Got me a good deal and like you said has answered all my questions.

I'm guilty of internet stalking him about anything and everything. Sorry Malcom, you know a ton of information and are a great asset to the community. E-beer for you!

Mike, I would not sell yourself short. If it weren't for you my car would have been towed to my new house.

And yes Malcolm has been extremely helpful via email and on this forum. His remote tuning was 100 times better then my custom dyno tune. I'm evening running the VMP 3000 MAF which has caused several issues with other tuners (including VMP) but Malcolm stuck with my car and figured it out.

I'm local to Malcolm and he is always ready to lend a hand, no questions asked. I'm having him tune my car and will go to him for any future upgrades for sure. A complete standup guy. I wish I could return the favor but he knows way more than me

I appreciate the kind words, i believe in helping fellow enthusiasts and am glad i could help.

I did make Malcolm aware of this thread, and in typical Malcolm form he was embarrassed/shocked by the praise. I love his humbleness.

I agree with everyone above, I bugged him a few times and he always kindly replies and helps out. Great guy!
