5.4 in my 2013 a good thing or bad thing?

Well guys I have a 2013 Shelby GT 500 and the original motor blew and the previous owner put a 5 4 block in it with all the 2013 attachments including the blower. Any thoughts on this?

No I knew about it and it's the aluminum from 2012 and it was installed by Lund racing

I paid 27 for it new engine has 26000 on it vehicle had 39000

That's not terrible, but it does affect value a bit. Do you know if it's a GT block or a 2011-2012 Shelby block?

That's kind of what I thought considering it was done by people who knew what they were doing and they set me with a lund tune cai, smaller pulley and N gauge

It also came with ID 1000 injectors and I was told it should make between 630 to 650rwhp. The reason why I posted this topic was some people were saying that I would have the best of both worlds with the 2013 car but a 5.4 block I was just curious to see what people thought

It would have been nice if the swapped over the GT cams, but the 5.4 isn't any stronger or weaker than the 5.8. you got a great deal on the car, I would keep modding it and enjoy it.

Well, how does it run? Do a few 1320 hits on the track apps and see what kind of times you can rip off.

You got a good deal on it, I wouldn’t worry about it. It’ll obviously hurt resale value, but relative to what you paid for it, I don’t see an issue.
