07-09 Shleby or S550

Well I decided to sell the CO Cobra come spring time.

And have just started looking into a new ride. Trying to decide between a
S550 with a Supercharger already on it or a Shelby.

This will be just a weekend fun car. No brining it to the strip just a few
grudge matches here and there.

I realize the S550 will have more H.P. with the blower but would the difference
between the two be that drastic?

Budget will be 30K...

I like the S197 I body style and interior design more so that has my vote. Coyote is a better engine though.

I prefer the 07-09 gt500 over the GT S550. But since it looks like it you want something just for fun weekends. Go with the GTS550. Comes with a better suspension from the start(IRS). Making close to the same HP as the shelby is easy with a Roots/twin screw blower. And the updated tech.

If you were gonna be drag racing i would say the GT500. Better trans, SRA better for launching.

whatever is most refine and nicer on the inside. The older i get, the nice i want my interior. The hell with the "rawness"

I just got out of my 08 GT500, and while I liked it, I found myself always really wanting a turbo'd S550 instead. I like the looks and the features of the S550 also, but you wont get the rawness like the GT500s had. If I had to choose again today I would get the S550.

Exactly what I did after I sold my 07 gt500.

New s550 with turbos LOL.

I had an 08 GT500 and it was an amazing car with basic mods. Sold it and now I’m looking at a 13-14 GT500. Can’t see myself going back to a 5.0.

S550

S550 all day and twice on Sunday.

GT500 if you want something a little more unique for weekend cruising and easy power.

S550 to DD and for all the extra tech.
