Anyone else frustrated with Ford over the next GT500?

Well, there are leaked photos of the brakes already which show they are not water cooled.

Yes, there was a leaked pic of what is believed to be a GT350 with a blower...zero proof that was a GT500.

Yes the ZL1 has many coolers, but seeing how the last blown ford 5.8 didn't need them, not sure why a smaller 5.2 would?

I'm not trying to impact anything Ford does, I'm simply discussing the vehicle.

As for my profession, I can't really say, but I do well enough to have bought three new SVT vehicles since 09, several other vehicles, bikes and boats. (And no I don't have more money than brains and have never paid an ADM).

I think outside of the box a lot, especially when I hear things.

Don't think for a minute that Ford or anyone else doesn't "leak" things to throw off people and/or competitors.

Paying ADM = stupid.
The fact that people are still paying ADM now = really stupid.
Has nothing to do with how good or bad the car is !!
Goes without saying, yes it's stupid. But if you were hearing all over the internet that the car is a pile of shit, no one would be paying ADMs.

Take the Focus RS for example. ADMs all day long on that car until the HG issue broke. Poof. No more ADMs

You could say people are stupid for believing what they see or read, but that's the way it is.

Adm’s are a waste of money. An initiated or patient person can find the same car without an adm in reasonably short order.

"Or be like some being smart enough to earn the money to pay the ADM, but choose not to and put that money towards charity or helping other people in general?"

OK, then just shut SVT down completely, we all sell our toys and give the money to the poor. Duh.

We have photos of a S/C case with 5.2 and the Cobra logo cast into them... It's going to be supercharged. Only stuff left to speculate over is HP rating, transmissions, trim levels, etc.

**** them.

A while back, my wife and I were going out to dinner, and she said "We could save this money and give it to such-and-such a charity." I asked, "Why is the recipient of the charity any more deserving than a single-mother waitress at the restaurant, working her ass off to take care of her kids? "

Nothing wrong with charity, nothing wrong with buying stuff, so that the people who make and sell stuff don't need charity, either.

BTW: Do we have a car yet?

Which is more stupid, paying an ADM or not being smart enough to earn enough money to pay an ADM without flinching?
Smart enough to earn enough money to pay an ADM without flinching equates to being smart enough to wait for the right deal where you don't have to pay one.

It's all about patience, especially for cars like this that aren't limited to a specific number of units being built.

The Ford GT is an example of a car worth paying an ADM on. A 2015 GT350(R) is another.

Unless Ford does the same with the 500, anyone paying an ADM is someone who just can't wait to have one.

My grandfather opened a small chain of grocery stores in New England after he got out of the army following World War II. He was extremely successful. He retired the year I was born and was retired longer than he ever worked.

My grandfather used to tell me two things on on a regular basis, never buy anything on credit and a product or service is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

My grandfather paid cash for his houses, his cars, and everything he owned. He got as wealthy and successful as he did by providing good products, good service, and raising his prices as high as he could without pricing himself out of the market.

It doesn't matter if you're selling produce or cars, the concept remains the same.

I'm poor and GOD told me to buy a new GT500, if any of you rich people feel the need to be charitable, send all your spare cash to me and you will be doing me and GOD a favor. I will even put in a good word for you with the man upstairs. Trust me.

I’m happy for the success you’re grandfather had but it’s naive of you to compare his success and cash only mentality to now. The way this society is, it’s nearly impossible for the average person to buy a house cash only or even a used car. We are a debt based society now unfortunately. Some use it to their advantage, most don’t.

I tell people to pull a Dave Ramsey and only go into debt for a 10-15 year home loan when you have 25-33% saved for a down payment separate of 6 months of cash on hand etc.

30 year mortgages are a total waste. Better to rent 5 more years until you can do it right.
