That's a tough one. Saving Private Ryan probably, with We Were Soldiers, Full Metal Jacket, and Apocalypse now all coming in at second.

All time favorite movie is Last of the Mohicans. Although We Were Soldiers, Saving Private Ryan, Enemy at the Gates, Patton, Rambo, Patriot, and several others rank high on my list. There’s also a couple of crusades movies I quite like as well as other medieval movies.

Last of the Mohicans is an awesome movie and filmed in my home state. I also forgot about lone survivor, the personal videos at the end get me every time.

Agreed Kelly’s hero’s is at top.

Close second Devils brigade.

The new movies while very good, they are to much like a documentaries to me. Makes it to real, in the end I just end up being mad/frustrated/useless feeling.

The older stuff, even if non fictional, gives me a different sense not quite quantifiable as entertainment but I m not mad at the end

Lots of good ones, but the first to come to mind is Blackhawk Down. One of the only movies I can remember I left the theater almost exhausted it was so intense

This, I was familiar with the outcome since I read the book, and it was so accurate right down to the dialog. Attending was seriously a drain.
