Few more updates.

So the guy doing the exhaust did me a huge solid and fit me in between jobs. He did this because he knew I had a show on the 15th and I wanted to put some miles in it before then. So he had a 3 day window, because of this we don't have time for tails this time but will knock those out after the show. I am only going from headers to dumps for now.

Anyhow dude is super talented and from the pics I am super happy.

Just got the call that the exhaust is on and dumped at the axle. Like I said he did me a solid and squeezed me in before the show. After the show I go back for tails.... its going to be a custom route that may look familiar to many... but with my own twist.

Here is the money shot!

Got the car back. Huge thank you to @riche for recommending @Myfast70 to do my exhaust. He absolutely knocked this out of the park. If anyone is here in AZ and needs some fab work or exhaust.... Do not hesitate to contact Joe (@Myfast70)

Any how, here is a pic of the completed (for now) exhaust on the car with turndowns.

A friend of mine was able to catch video of the car firing up for the first time with exhaust.

Here is another video of the car at idle.

Super happy right now and excited to get to drive it around this weekend before the show.

Oh yeah... forgot to mention.

My hope was that with me in the car I would be under 3k lbs.

The car was sitting on the scales as I pulled up and I came in at 2900 lbs without me in it and about 3/4 tank gas.

Pretty damn stout. Sub 3100lbs, 4-500hp, full suspension.. should be a rocket ship. Love the car and the work you've consistently put into it. I hope to one day have my coupe on the same level.

I took it out last night and its an animal. Getting it to hook is troublesome but it pulls hard when it does grip.

Thanks, there were many points where I thought I bit off more than I could chew but im glad I pushed through. it takes time, patience, and a little bit of coin lol.

While putting miles in it yesterday, I found I have a fuel delivery problem somewhere. After a hard pull on my way home it stalled. I pulled over and saw I had 1-2 psi fuel pressure. I was able to adjust to 6.5psi in order to get it home but I am adjusted all the way open on the regulator which should be 15psi.

I will be removing the filter, the regulator, and the carb and taking all of the filters out to check for clogs. I will rebuild the regulator just in case some crud got in there. Im suspecting debris somewhere in the system is causing issues.

And a pic of where she stranded me because it looked so good.

I love this build. It truly is a work of art.

I have to ask, if you don't mind, what the investment for this build thread looks like cost wise?

Thank you, I appreciate it.

So, taking into consideration everything spent minus my labor hours... Keep in mind I literally replaced almost every single bolt in the car with expensive allen head because I have OCD.... I can comfortably say im into it for about the price of a 2018 Mustang GT that is very very heavily optioned.

But there is no soul in a 18. Easy to buy a fast car, but blood sweat and tears makes up for the price.

Amazing build! Excellent job! As for the fuel problem, does the tank have a good vent?

Also, I am looking to have a very similar exhaust set up installed on my 82 Monte, custom done similar to yours. Would you mind telling me what you are paying? There is only one real good mandrel shop around here and I was wondering if I was paying a decent price(PM me if you want). Also, I assume it is stainless?

Tank is vented with a brand new vent. I believe I have it corrected but I still need to take it for a test drive.

I will shoot you a PM with cost etc. and yes, its 304 stainless.

spent the weekend tracking down my fuel issues and I removed everything and worked backwards.

Disassembled the regulator and found some small debris. I put everything back together and now its regulating without maxing out the adjustment at only 6psi.

So I had S550 5.0 badges back in 2015 but they are now pretty overplayed. Plus with the 363 its no longer a 5.0 so I decided I needed something different.

The Fox Saleens had "race craft suspension" and I really liked that touch. So I decided to do a little tribute to that. Since I have the full Maximum Motorsports setup I decided to have some billet badges made.

Here is what I came up with.

I really liked the way they looked but I didn't want them to stick out like a sore thumb so I decided to color match the badges. Started spraying them gray to match the molding.

Next step was to paint the milled out areas to match the body.

I ended up spraying the badge with clear in order to bring some shine to the red in the badge.

Cleaning up the adhesive.

Here is the finished product.

I want to have the verbiage "suspension by" on top but im struggling to find the spacing and size that looks good.
