throw the questions that give you trouble in this thread. It has been years since I have taken math courses, but I'm sure myself and others would be able to help you out. I went through calc III in school (mechanical engineer), so I should be able to help...I think...it's been a while.

Yea, I thought that too until my younger brother started asking me questions for help. lol
Calc 3/diff/etc and forgot it all as soon as I graduated.

Chegg and wolfram alpha.

I just graduated with my BS in mechanical engineering technology.. I went back to school at 29 and finished at 33. These 2 sites helped me tremendously.

Great to hear that you have decided to go back. Just buckle down and get it done. It opened so many doors for me and Im soooo glad that I did it.

Symbolab is an online calculator that actually shows you the problem step by step beginning to end. I used it when studying particularly if I wasnt understanding how to get from step q to step r. Its a great way to help you look at, and figure out how and what a certain step is doing.

Just finished my first semester at college. I took finite math and it was super hard. Be prepared that you may not be taught anything by the professor. I used YouTube and chegg to learn/study in my class. Half the class failed but I managed to pull a B+ by doing well on the tests. Then again, your class might be super easy. I would just say study every week and make sure you understand all the material

If you are still looking for a good online tutorial, Khan Academy.

I agree with Salman Khan’s educational philosophy of mastering a topic before moving on to the next.

Math wasn’t easy for me I had to keep plugging. I actually ended up becoming friends with people I met in class and the group effort study helped considerable. Anyways it all paid off and I was able to finally reach my goal of becoming a licensed land surveyor. Keep at it don’t give up and work towards your goal

Funny how things work. Calculus would have me literally in tears it was so frustrating, but my stat prof explained things so well that I barely had to read the material and got an A.

Same here: calc I, calc II, calc III, diff eq, linear algebra--all of those were easy. However, Engineering Statistics kicked my tail--I still don't understand it to this day other than C=course complete!

Good job at starting, that's the hardest part haha. Like you mentioned, Khan Academy is awesome, really helped me through the aviation math classes I took at Embry-Riddle for my BS. I only just got my CCAF too.
