I pretty much know I'm going to get a R (well not really because I'm getting my car out to Indiana before my next sticker). But before hand, it would scrape to hell and back unless they laid out ramps for it to get it in the bay. So ya, I know for a fact I'd get a R, but see ya later MA. Not gonna miss it!

I assume you have other reject able issues, past a low ride height, because I was unaware ride height has ever been an issue? I solved this issue by supplying a ramp (2 blocks, and a couple 2x10's) to the station I get my stickers at.

State law states no higher or lower than 2 inches from stock

Such a shit show in this state. Will be interesting to see what they say about my Ford OEM quad exhaust aka sidepipes, if they even notice. And wonder were they get their ride height data.......

Also curious where they get that. Parents took one of their cars in today, failed because the plate wasn't "reflective enough." Been like that for the past 4-5 years or so and first time we've had problems.

Green? If so this update by the state is a way to get the greens out of circulation.

Just what I was thinking.....who knows. Then again I heard one of the reasons for taking pictures was to verify whether or not you need 1 or 2 plates (green vs red). Anyhow, my parents have had that plate since '87 so it has had a good life haha.

There is a company that can refurbish the green plates. If interested I can PM you

Ride height doesn't seem to be an issue. One of my customers came in with his challenger and things damn near scraping the ground. Passed no problem. And his tint was like 5%.

I took my work vans and my gt thru inspection this week in woburn mass. Figured get them done before the system is fully functional. My garage told me next year the tints definitely will not pass and she made me remove my licence plate frame for the picture so that "the spirit of america" script was not covered and I just double sided taped the front plate on for the pic.

Yeah the spirit of America rule is pretty strict. my dealer has been strict on that for years. We get a lot of pissed off people lol.

Yeah cause that's important, seeing all the script.

Gotta wonder how all the coal rollers are doing , they seem to be the most likely to feel the pain.

A year or 2 ago, the registry guy said plate frames didn't matter anymore. As far as plates not being reflective enough, it really is a thing. When the camera takes the picture, the flash will determine if the plate is good. We sent one person who just happened to have a green plate to get new plates.

Well, it was a long time coming…and basically didn’t drive my car all summer which sucks. But I got my stock Cats back on. Flashed over to my catted tune. Checked with my tuner and my monitors should be factory set to ‘ready’ now. I’ll make sure all my other BS is taken care of, plates/frames. And look to schedule an appointment with the MAC center in the spring.

Was there ever a verdict on drag radials? My set of tires has less than 500 miles on them that I was going to drive in on. And my side windows are legal tint (saw the tint meter test when I picked it up). Although I do have a 20% tint strip at the top of my windshield.

I'm hoping by spring all the visual inspection stuff will have calmed a bit. (Cats, tires etc)

I get my truck inspected next month and I will report back.
Only "performance" mod is a Flowmaster Outlaw direct replacement muffler. It's loud. lol

Good luck... will they utilize a decibel meter if noise is questionable?
