RIP Gregg....the world lost a true TALENT!!
BTW.....I didn't know he lived in Savannah.....about 40 miles South of me!!

He looked like Ron DeFeo.

Meh, was never a fan. Still RIP.

He did not live in Savannah. He actually lived in Richmond Hill GA which is about 20 minutes south of Savannah. They probably say Savannah to protect his location. The reason I know this is because he lived 2 blocks away from a good friend of mine and Gregg Allman used to visit the local schools when my friends kids were there about 10-12 years ago. He was a good guy. Rip Gregg.

I heard about this yesterday. Sad news. Back in the day, that band was one of my favorites.

Eric Church did a tribute to Greg Allman after hearing of Greg's passing. Midnight Rider!!

A lot of good memories. This goes back to a time where MTV was good! Unplugged with Gregg's voice and Dickie Betts' awesome guitar work. They say a lot of little girls were named Melissa due to this song. Rest in peace Gregg.
