I went through this last year. Replaced stock with a RXT and the 26 spline input shaft. I figured my throw out bearing was shot as well, and it ended up being that I just needed to adjust the clutch cable. The RXT feels so much better than stock so I am still glad I went through with it. But...
I ordered some about a year back. It goes look better than the small chip but what I got was a lot darker. I did really work it in with some wet sanding and buffing as well.
Decided to finally pull the transmission due to some bearing squeal. So I am going to be redoing everything. When looking at the RXT is the Lethal kit better than the regular RXT kit with the aluminum flywheel?
Also is there a reason to replace the clutch fork?
Other than that I am going with...
I am running about as basic as mods as you can get for the 2.3. KB BAP, 80lb injectors. Mine has the 3" pulley putting around 17lbs of boost. I was somehow still able to run with the stock MAF. Never did ask my tuner how close it was to maxed out, but with my tune the car runs great. Numbers below.
Just a zip tie that goes on that stud it looks like. Here is my old car that was all stock. Probably be hard to find the exact match. But maybe check a fastenal or some auto parts store to find some close.
Post up some results if you get it done. Problem with the hoses is finding a way to work with the clips on them. Unless you just cut the clip ends off.
Sale pending.
They do work great. I have done 120+ and have never had issues. Not sure if they mount different than the '13 ones but it takes 2 minutes or less to put on.
