Looks like a fuel problem it had fuel pressure till now I didn't have a way to measure how much but I'm guessing it wasn't enough I put new fuel pumps on it something must have went wrong fuse is good but each time I try it gets less and less fuel pressure
I checked ground wires they are good I have a predator programmer that was used to program the car years ago with the Eaton and factory stuff don't know anything else aout that and I don't know how to manually check tps voltage
So car started idled great let it idle for 10 maybe 15 minutes. then tapped the throttle it reved then idled high about 1200 for 30 seconds then died. won't idle anymore it starts then dies I think it may be because I deleted the EGR. and haven't gotten to the tuner yet on top of all the other...
So the harbor freight support bar worked amazingly no complaints. but my new issue the o2 sensor extensions kooks sent. the tab holes on harness don't match the o2 sensor plugs so do I cut the tabs off and plug them in anyway. or get different o2 sensors I don't know much about those sensors.
These headers have been one big headache but it's almost over. after the kennebell supercharger, kooks headers and McLeod clutch. not sure I can convince the wife on a tubular k member at the moment may have to wait till next yr for that lol.
I got my dad's 03 cobra awhile back and decided to do some upgrades. I put kooks long tube headers on and when I went to put the starter back on it won't fit between the header and engine. I believe the only option is to drop the k member back down and go in from the side between the header...
Found the problem fuse was blown for fan I'm guessing when the old fan fell apart it partially burned the fuse enough for it to still turn on once or twice with the new fan but eventually finished it off
Recently got my dad's 03 cobra 125k on it and its had a problem. 2 fans broke after the second it started acting up. driving around it stays half way on gauge no issues at all. but when stopped idling for a few minutes it starts boiling water. temp gauge stays at halfway and fan doesnt come on...
So hopefully in the near future I will get to upgrade my supercharger but I'm in a delima I tried google but didn't yield any results so if I put the 01 up intercooler on my 99 could I then get the 3.4l whipple or what why is it the 01 up intercooler will bolt right up but the whipple 3.4 won't...
