Looking for a Boss intake before I buy a 2018 in a few days. Just want to know what's out there. Thanks.

    Struggling bad, need some help!

Success!. I put a little heat to it and used the old crank bolt inside of a bigger socket with the puller. Thanks for all the help.

I will try both the torch and the pry bar. With the pry bar, you mean put it between the timing cover and the crank pulley?

I do but it wont fit, I suppose I could take the radiator out but even then I don't think it will clear.

Yes it fits inside with a little wiggle room.

Still no luck, here is a picture of the puller, I know this isn't how it is supposed to be set up but it is the only way I could get it to fit inside.

How hard can I hit the pulley and puller? I don't want to mess up the crank or anything.

    Yes, it looks like this.

I will give it a try in a few minutes. I feel like it shouldn't be this hard though.

    Struggling bad, need some help!

I am in the middle of oil pump gears, and I am stuck. The crank pulley will not come off. I have the bolt out, but I cannot get the damn pulley off. I have a 3 jaw puller on per the service manual but it won't come off. When I tighten the puller, eventually the crank start turning, any suggestions?

    Paxton OPG/Crank Sprocket confusion.

Yeah, I may as well do it. I'm just debating if I should put that hundred towards a damper instead. I suppose I could always do the damper down the road a bit since it is on the outside.

    Paxton OPG/Crank Sprocket confusion.

Alright thanks for the tips. I will probably be doing this in about 2 weeks. I guess I will spring for the crank sprocket too. It would be nice to save a hundred bucks if the 11-14 sprocket is strong enough but if they do fail somewhat frequently I would much rather do it now.

    Paxton OPG/Crank Sprocket confusion.

Sounds like you got it. Hopefully you get a little more leeway than 5 minutes on the silicone. It seems like it could be rough. Did you go through tasca for all the gaskets or is there a better deal to be had? It looks to be just under $70 shipped for all of them.
