Look closer, there are two pulleys, the one for the serpentine belt and an extra not being used. I’m assuming it’s not stock. Anyone else have a have a crank pulley on a 96 that looks like this?

Has anyone seen a pulley setup like this. Car is a 96 cobra with 32k on it. It does not appear to have ever had a blower on it and none of the blowers I see used a pulley like this.

Looks like 94-96 have different head rests from 97-98.

Google 96 cobra seats and click images. You will see tilting headrests for black and saddle. Trust me, the seats came with the car.

Sorry fellas. The filtering on the camera gives it that darker color and these are the factory seats. The headrests tilt.

Maximum Motorsports lower control arms with adjustable spring perch or maximum Motorsports coil overs. Either will get the job done.

Hard to say without hearing it. You could try removing the belt to see if the noise goes away. This will help to eliminate any of the accessory drives causing the noise.

Do you know if your car had the service recall done? If it did use 97 up condenser. If not use a 96 condenser.

I’m still searching and deciding. I would also love to find a speed cal and be done with it. I contacted accutach about their product working on a 96 cobra but his answer left me in doubt that it would 100% work.

I would pull out the trans speed sensor and check the teeth on the gear as well as the drive gear in the trans.

Is it your speedometer or odometer/tripometer that doesn’t work?
