How does it compare to Cask 16 (from Crown Royal)?
I had a go at that this Christmas and I quite enjoyed it.
If you drink it on the rocks, like most of us do, it waters it down a bit therefore making it a little less strong and easier to put down.
Its not as bad as a shot. Plus, we're not chugging it. Take a few sips every now and again, enjoy some R&R, and chillax.
Pretty much. You're not taking a lot per sip, and because you poured it it means you enjoy the flavor, so you get to actually enjoy it in each sip.
I've only tried Cask No. 16 once so it'd be hard to compare, but I really enjoyed that too.

Ive tried a few and I just cant get into it. The most I can handle is Pyrat Rum XO Reserve on the rocks, and thats after being massively buzzed from that+coke earlier in the night and running out of coke and going "**** it" pouring a glass on the rocks and drinking that.
Ive tried Jack, Crown, Black Label, prolly others im forgetting. Just cant do it. Probably not old enough (25) to be that awesome to be able to sip at straight liquor. Maybe in time...............
EDIT: take that back. I used to drink that DiSoronno shit on the rocks, but thats kinda puss since its an amaretto. One hangover with that shit and you call it quits and cant even look at the bottle, let alone try it again.

An ex's brother made me try Grand Marnier, that shit is just tooooo strong. Then he had me taking shots of the stuff, which made me puke every night that I did.
