Mcnabb is a great QB. His flaw is that he is inconsistant.
Dallas will NOT be in the playoffs. Romo sucks too much and is holding that team back.

of course the #5 QB in 2007 and the #8 QB in 2008 is holding back an entire friggin team

do you even have anything besides air space between your ears?

let me guess, d. ware is holding the team back too, so is nick folk

some of you people do not even think. If anything is holding the team back, its the poor secondary (a. henry especially) and the offensive line

Dallas has so many issues, where do you start? O-line, secondary, QB (Romo is not a franchise QB), injuries in the running game, coach, offensive coordinator, etc. This team is a wreck

I just hope the eagles capitalize off these mistakes they made yesterday. they broke the streak of being unbeaten after the bye week thats for sure.

Uh, did you watch the NFC East Clown Show today? Saying the Giants are the best in the NFC East doesn't mean squat at this point. It's their division to lose that's for sure. To rank them in the NFC as a whole, I'd say they are #3 behind the Saints of course. And the Vikings. For the entire NFL? I'd rank them #4 or #5. Maybe #6. I don't think this loss defines the Giants by any means. But they need to bounce back next week. That will define who they are more than this loss today. The Saints are on another level.
PACOTACO

The subject of this thread is who is going to win the NFC East, I think that it will be the Giants.

I called the Saints win over the Giants weeks ago in several threads, I also think the Vikings are better than the Giants. The NFC East is looking pretty weak right now.

What league have you been watching.

I'm not saying Romo is great, but he's better than McNabb

I think the NFC EAST stacks like this #1 Eagles (yes they lost to a crap team but this will fire them up and they can handle good teams) #2 Giants (They lost to a real good team probably #1 in the NFC, but Eli will not recover as fast as Mcnabb and this was their only real test so far this season and they blew it, but they will get a wildcard birth) #3 Cowboys (they dont have a shot at the playoffs but they may finish 8-8). #4 Redskins (yeah the Redskins HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Bubye Jim Zorn. Maybe next year)

Hmm are you an Eagles fan by chance?

Here's a neat question. Who did the Eagles lose to on Sept. 20 of this year, at home?

Giants and Eagles have played 4 of the same teams. And guess who has decisively looked better against every one of them?

Hence a reason why I think the Saints are #1 in the NFC. They are beating decent teams all over the place. But it all depends on how teams can recover and I don't think Eli can rebound that quick. He doesn't have his brothers mental ablities. After the loss on the 20th the eagles came back with a 34-14 win albeit with a second rate team..

Man....I can't believe people are blaming Mcnabb for that loss. The o-line sucked and Reid once again refused to run the ball.
Westbrook was averaging almost 10 yards a carry but only got 6 touches?
Reid does this every year. Someone will blitz the hell out of Mcnabb and he just forgets about the run. He had D-line men in his backfield as soon as the ball was snapped for most of the game. He didn't even have time for a 3 step drop. The o-line + play calling is why they got beat.

No I don't think it was Mcnabbs fault. It was definitely the O line.. He didnt get any time to throw the ball. Westbrook looked good the few times he saw action. I think the main reason for the loss was they took the game too lightly thinking they would roll over the Raiders and they didnt practice hard for this contest. Also Akers needs to get his confidence back. But will they rebound this week? Yes they will. They have another easy contest this week with the Redskins and they will not go lightly this time:beer:

alright, these people pointing out the cowboys 'problems' obviously aren't watching their games that closely if the secondary isn't at the top of the list. newman and hamlin are just as much to blame for the close loss to the giants as romo is. and, yes, he is DEFINITELY part of the reason they lost. as i said before, whether or not he is a pocket passer(obviously not), he is still accountable for most of his interceptions.

Mcnabb can carry a team by himself. His first 6 years or so he did not have a single weapon to throw to. He put up awesome numbers and made it to the playoffs consistantly and won games when he had to. Romo on the other hand has great first halfs of the season, but when the time comes for clutch games, he sucks horriably.

You can also blame it on the D line.. They're giving QB's all day in the pocket.. It's hard to get D-Ware inside line when they can double team
him every time.. But you are absolutely right.. The secondary is soft and can't cover for shit..

Romo is a top ten QB where? In fantasy football, the last couple years when he was surrounded by offensive weapons?? The fact is, he is always a liability, cant be trusted to win big games, is a horrible decision maker, and will never lead a team deep in the playoffs. If those are qualities of a top ten QB to you, then I guess he is.

You also deleted injuries in the running game out of my post, when you supposedly "fixed" it. You dont think thats an issue??

the problem is w/ our defense! Romo, even though he's made mistakes w/ the ball he still has put the team in a position to win the game, it's just our defense that is letting them score the tying or winning points (giants, broncos, chiefs) once the defense straightens up then them 'Boys will go on a tear!
