Cayman. I really like the new one and 265hp and 2900lbs sounds fun to me. I've read that it might be the best sports car in the world. Anyone ever drive one to add to that comment.

I picked the 2010 GT500 because I love the changes Ford made with it. . . .however I don't see myself spending that kind of coin for a car right now. Pricing is becoming too steep for my liking with the mordern version Cobras.

I'd be hard for me to choose between the Camaro and 335i.

If I had a realistic 50k budget I would just get a used E55 and call it a day.

2002 Camaro SS: 3500lbs & 325hp; 10.77 Lbs/hp
2003 Mustang Cobra: 3665 & 390hp; 9.40 Lbs/hp

2010 GT500: 3900lbs & 540hp; 7.22 Lbs/hp
2010 Camaro SS: 3900lbs & 426hp; 9.15 Lbs/hp

So in this simple comparison, the new cars SHOULD be faster than their previous counterparts. Also, the SS should be a damn good race with a stock cobra with equal drivers. We'll see.

2008 Nissan GT-R: 3830Lbs & 478hp: 8.01 Lbs/hp. New GT500 should take it if its not from a dead stop.

Sence when can u buy a Gt500 under 50k? Also u should re-do the poll and remove the gt500 and see which car gets the votes.. cause u know everyone is gonna vote shelby

I wouldn't expect anything less from a Ford site..... This poll was a given as to who would win

Honestly if I had 50k to spend, I'd probably buy the Camaro SS and put the other 15k into mods.

Oh, don't the C6 vettes sticker for less than 50k?

In the Bay area we have a guy selling new ones for $35-40k

Seems kinda stupid to leave out the corvette.... it would def. be second on my list right behind the GT 500

The 2009 corvette coupe was at $48,565. I was lead to believe the MSRP on a 2010 corvette would be in the range: Base coupe $50,000 - ZO6 $74,000 not including the ZR-1... You'd be hard pressed to purchase a brand new corvette with base options for under 50k.

if I had 50k to spend I'd be buying an 06-07 C6 Z06 honestly.

If I had to pick between those I'd probably choose the 335xi

so would most people here, but the used car market is a whole new can of worms. That's like saying I'll get a 03 cobra for under 20k and slap 30k in aftermarket parts on it. Poll was meant for brand new cars with factory warrenties.

If I was forced to buy new I would go with the GT500, but if I had any choice I would wait till I could find a clean used C6 Z06 for about 50K. Either that or buy something around 30 to 35k then dump 15 to 20 into it in mods/wheels/etc so you could bitch slap any of the cars on the track.

between the GT500 and the Challenger but i voted Challenger. I love the new front on the GT500 but the back of the car (any 2010 stang) makes it look appalling. Too much plastic trim, the concave trunk center and weird taillights look like shit to me.

Really, were? I mean all on ebay are 55, and dealers around here are still 50+ as well

Im picking up a new 09 for 40k and a lot of dealerships are going to be selling at just msrp for the 2010 GT500 aswell as camaro, some even for invoice...

I'll be honest though I was going to buy a new camaro but doth dealers here are asking way ovcer msrp and treat you like dirt, the ford dealer gives good deals and has awesome customer service. The Bimmer looks good in the pics posted but if I wanted a luxury performer id go for an M3 but those are 57k
