I like my vortech v1 s/trim. Just get a xcalII & have your tuner give you an aggressive tune or a dd tune or a race fuel tune. Then you can switch tunes all day long if you want.ITS THAT EASY. -Its all in the tune- This is what I did & Im very happy with how things came out.

I love my s-trim blower, it's been on my car for 6 years and I have yet to have a problem with it. It has over 30K miles on the car and it's been pushing around 14psi for over half of those miles. It's been through alot and still keeps on going. I want it to actually break so I can send it in to get a T-trim but it just keeps on working flawlessly. So I'll keep on pushing it to it's limits and enjoying 500+ rwhp and I've had numerous people ask me if it's a procharger because it's so loud.

Get the procharger. They have a better step up ratio and all together they are just better in quality. . a basic P1 Procharger flows what a T-Trim Vortech does. And the boost comes on sooner with the procharger because of the internal step up ratio...

So get a D1 procharger and outflow most all vortech street kits

Go Pro!

I love my Procharger.

I love that it is self contained so i dont need to tap the oil pan. I love that it runs Blow by so i can run the blow off valve VTA. And i love that it has a FMIC for low IAT's

You can upgrade all the way to an F2M if you wanted. It doesn't show the D1SC as being an option but believe me it is. Im running a D1SC that I bought used froma guy that had it on a 99 Cobra.

Another Q? Is the Vortech and the Novi 2200 basically the same unit , and what about comparing a D1SC and the Novi 2200?

The diff between the P1-SC and the D1-SC is the impeller and the compressor housing. Which equates to about 4psi more with the same pulley. Any P1-SC can be upgraded to the D1-SC for about $1400ish. The D1-SC is rated at 1400 cfm. It outflows the Novi 2000, but according to Paxton, the Novi 2200 rated at 1450cfm. The drawback to the Novi series is thier step up ratios are still less than the Prochargers so getting them to its CFM ratings will be harder to do than the Prochargers.
