Modern combat shooting is "drive them to the ground", as shown by that Baltimore cop. Pistols suck for killing people. Knives are much better, but require you to be in knifing distance.

When we did some training with Marsoc we noticed they often trained with the usual drills, but in the shoot houses and exercises it was no less than 6 to the body and 4 to the head. Someone asked them and they said shoot until they're down and then keep shooting some more lol.
Yeah, the Mos. Drill is good for training recoil control and target selection.
Drive them to the ground is especially important to insure you never have an ethical dilemma of an injured enemy combatant while on a raid or spec op mission.
Is that with rifles or pistols out curiosity? Or both?

When we talked about it it was primarily in regards to rifles, so you'd expect the same rule applies or more with a service pistol.
Not gonna lie, with a rifle 6 to the body can be appropriate, but 4 to the head??? GAAAD DAMNNN!
