So Michigan had an elaborate sign stealing enterprise that took tens of thousands of dollars to plan and execute, where they recorded the signs at 65+ games over a 2.5 year period. Then they used the info to make laminated cheat sheets and placed the guy (Stalions) on the sideline next to the OC and DC with the cheat sheets in hand and deciphered plays in real time. Is this accurate?

And OSU & Rutgers deciphered some of Michigan's signs in-game, then passed the information along to Purdue.

Seems like apples to oranges. OSU/Rutgers is me and a buddy taking a math test during first period and telling our other buddy (Purdue) who will be taking the test in 4th period what is on the test. Meanwhile, Michigan stole the test, worked out all the answers ahead of time, checked their work, then turned it in. One is legal and one is illegal.

What is the point in doing all of that if the NCAA vacates their record and/or championship?
