Agreed, it's probably the most raced and driven Shelby1000 in the country. This is what it takes to get a full interior 250K shelby 1000 into the 9,s @SSSSSSSSSSSSVT
That is one badass 2012 shelby1000 @2011 gtcs

Thanks for sharing this pic man....going on my desktop background....lol. I had a chance to grab a 2014 shelby 1000..... CSM0002. I regret not jumping on it! I'm at crossed roads on the SS. It's either going to stay as it is with some minor upgrades or get SAI bessing to do a Super Snake 1000 build with a shelby approved mod center.Agreed, it's probably the most raced and driven Shelby1000 in the country. We've seen pics of your car. Why isn't IT your desktop background?!?Thanks for sharing this pic man....going on my desktop background....lol. I had a chance to grab a 2014 shelby 1000..... CSM0002. Dont get me wrong Mr. @Norton ! It's in the background.....lolWe've seen pics of your car. Why isn't IT your desktop background?!?
Just don't do anything, short of driving it, to ruin its collectability.
Ah yes, it was this one. Thanks for sharing this pic man....going on my desktop background....lol. I had a chance to grab a 2014 shelby 1000..... CSM0002. I regret not jumping on it! Yes sir @2011 gtcs thats the one. It was being sold by Ron's toy box. I came really......and i mean really close to pulling the trigger and I backed out and bought the SS for 87K. I stole it at that price but i got the inside scoop before it went up for sale. I have my regrets but Im personally not crazy about the shelby 1000 graphics. I like the SS better! My thinking was to take the widebody SS with the highly collectible CSM0008 number and build a Super Snake widebody 1000 that shelby did offer at one time when the program was still available. Its basically the same build as a Shelby 1000 but done in a Super Snake Build! Unfortunately the program ended and my plan back fired on me. So now, i have to get approval from SAI to get there blessing on the build if possible thru an approved shelby Mod center. Super Snake Widebody 1000 will be extremely rare build, even more rare than a Shelby 1000. I did my homework on this investment!Ah yes, it was this one.
I know that one sold at Mecum auctions last year for 198k. I try to follow the Shelby1000 stuff as close as I can (it's a weird obsession), but it's hard tracking down all the stuff. If that 1000 had a wide body it would have been perfect, but I still would have jumped on it if I could have afforded it lol. Having said that I think if you do something similar to a holeshot setup on your super snake you'll love it that much more.

Dude you stole the Super snake at 87k lol, and yes doing the 1000hp setup on yours would be the best option.Yes sir @2011 gtcs thats the one. It was being sold by Ron's toy box. Buying a real deal 13/14 super snake is usually a very expensive financial choice lol. I built a pretty good Super Snake clone and saved probably 20k or more and it made 827whp, although i never drag raced itYeah, 170k plus 2k for wheels and tires and your there. Got it.
I remember walking out of RK motors that day very well......I told the GM He would regret selling me this for 87K. He laughed at me and sent me off in a taxi cab to the airport. Im all smiles to this current day.........lol!! RK motors runs a first class operation. The salesmen, GM and even the owner were great. Got to tour there two facilities and they were awesome. They sell nothing but top notch Muscle cars and wouldnt hesistate to buy again from these guys RK Motors Classic Cars and Muscle Cars for Sale. I highly recommend them!! Super Snakes, Shelby 1000's are collectible show cars and nothing more than that, Yes they can be prepped to race but very rarely will you see them at a drag strip. I'll never say never but my SS could run down a strip one day to see what it can do but I dont have any intentions to do so anytime soon if I ever even decide to do it. If I wanted to drag race seriously @2011 gtcs @SSSSSSSSSSSSVT I would buy a Ford Performance Cobra Jet specifically a 2013/14 like this one! Who in there right mind would spend 150K on a SS to go 10 sec down 1/4 mile track when you can spend 90K on a cobra jet and go 8"s. Surely not me!! Mine was bought from an investment standpoint and obviously for the price and low CSM number!!Dude you stole the Super snake at 87k lol, and yes doing the 1000hp setup on yours would be the best option.

That's what I was getting at, if you're buying a super snake it's more of a collector car than anything else but it has great potential if you want to use it. That's what suprised me so much with the one BAT, it's got a lot of miles on it and it's been raced and its setup correctly, but its going to pull good money, and yes if I was looking for a race car I'd buy a Cobra Jet like you said.I remember walking out of RK motors that day very well......I told the GM He would regret selling me this for 87K. I kid you not. Saw SS Widebody built just like this one you posted. It had lower miles and the guy was asking 300k.....fricken insane. I agree with you. But as a legal street car they are monsters on the street compared to anything that is street legal!! Just like the 2019 corvette ZR1'SThat's what I was getting at, if you're buying a super snake it's more of a collector car than anything else but it has great potential if you want to use it. Im thinkin between 150-200K Mr. @2011 gtcsI guess the reserve wasn't met at 128k, I wounder what they actually want for it. View attachment 1760599
I would think that's what they want, but with the higher mileage and a new engine I don't know if they will get much more than 150 to 160k and it might take awhile to find the right buyer at that price.Im thinkin between 150-200K Mr. @2011 gtcs
I figured you be dropping by to show some love............ Your a fan stop fighting it.....lmaoLoL.
There may be less than 200 of these, but that one was ridden hard and put away wet. I don't see it commanding anywhere near the same money an unmolested one likely would. It was very collectible in original condition. I think @2011 gtcs is right about the miles and new engine making it much less so.Dont forget @2011 gtcs How rare these are.......you talking less than 200 of these that were built. Even with 33K on the odometer this car will go for 150-175k easy. The attention that these cars get out in the public is crazy.......take my word for it! Someone who wants something thats is rarely ever seen at cars shows will pay up. It will be the main attraction at whatever car event you go too.
