Who would have thought that a vehicle with a FAR SUPERIOR braking system, suspension and wheel drive system would perform in such a way vs. a vehicle that is meant to cruise and go fast in a straight line.

“4-wheel-steering, 4-wheel-drive system with active rear torque vectoring, adaptive air suspension with active dampers, a roll stabilization system with continuous and immediate response, carbon ceramic brakes”

Hmmmm.... I sense complete and utter faggotry from OP.

I’ll drink a beer to your queer, OP.

Cheers!

It's a fricking SUV on air suspension and Cryborg is already making excuses for Dodge , haaa haaa.

Dodge got its shit pushed in by a SUV on air suspension with 156hp less , 350lbs heavier and adding to the insult it was on 23inch wheels

It's crazy how fast they can make these gaint land yachts go these days...

And the fact the Lambo was even faster is amazing.

Looks like your super car, designed with the sole purpose of performance in mind, ALSO gets it’s shit pushed it by a “friggin SUV”.

Man these comparos get worse and worse.
I want to see Miata vs Cullinan.
Maybe a Chevy Cruse vs a Model S.

Anyone shocked or surprised that any Lambo beat any Dodge around a road course is missing something...

That Red eye sounds bad ass. I see a lot of Urus's or Urui (?) around here. It's usually driven by some jerk off that thinks a Miura is an Italian loafer.

I like these kind of races

It was fun to watch, but not surprised at the result. The Red Eye (although fast) is not really a road course car. For the $90k you could buy, or build something much faster.

The Lambo?....who spends $225k on an SUV? I wanna meet that guy, because you sir, are winning!

SUV designed to be excellent at handling.

Smaller sidewall tires = better handling. So, the larger "wheels" actually add an advantage to the Urus whereas the larger sidewall hurts the Hellcat when it comes to cornering.

OP must hate Dodge vehicles severely. I don't see this type of hate on our local car forum from him, he's rather modest/humble there. Here, completely different person.

Why only compare to a Hellcat/Redeye? There are plenty of other cars on that list that the Urus wrecks that are just as impressive overall as the Hellcat/Redeye.

Also, I don't see the newer Viper listed. What about that? That is Dodge's best handling vehicle out there.

OP is trying to drive home a point that the hellcat variants aren’t impressive.

that’s his opinion, and waving the flag of a vehicle that’s more then triple the price of the Redeye shows it. Anyone with half a brain knows the Redeye was not dodges build approach for a road course car. It was a high HP heavy hitter for the street that anyone can buy and enjoy with out needing to do anything other then sign at the dotted line and push the start button.

though there are more and more people simply throwing tires, brake pads and better fluid in their hell cats and red eyes and having a blast at the road course for a track weekend.

yes OP we get it the GT500 is superior....it also lands you in a higher real world price segment currently.

Dodge ceased production of the Viper in 2017, so it wouldn't really make sense to do. Randy ran a 1:28:65 in a Viper ACR at Laguna Seca. That's faster than he ran in a McLaren 720s, P1, Porsche 918, and Lambo Huracan Performante. ACR vs Hellcat or Urus around a track would be like an NBA mens team vs a WNBA team.
