Unsolicited storytime. 15 years ago I worked at a hardware store like a smaller Tractor Supply. When we started selling grain/oats and tack, we started attracting the horse people. There were a handful of normal ones, but most were flat out nuts and insanely rude- especially the ones in their early 20's. We're talking one rung above "Crazy Cat Woman" levels of crazy.
