Thinking of a new daily? Selling my FiST for a S550?

So I currently have a 2018 Fiesta ST. Light mods, makes 191/285 to the wheels. It's a riot to drive. Gets 29-35mpg depending on how you drive it. Have 22k miles on it.


I'm always in and out of dailys and are just thinking of my next daily. I have gone 14 Fusion AWD, 14 Focus ST, 16 Focus RS.

With Ford no longer making these cars, I got to start considering other options

Was considering a used 2018 Ecoboost Premium performance pack A10. Or, a used 15-16 GT A6.

Would like to keep it around 25-27k. RS was 42k OTD and I'd like to stay away from that kind of payment on a DD



1. I drive 20-24k a year so the EB does look nice with it's better MPG

2. I live in NH, so I will be driving these 4-5 months in the snow

3. Looking for a sporty driving experience, not necessarily something fast.


How lame is the Ecoboost mustang? I guess with the PP it seems to hold it's own. Traps around 102 in decent weather. I blew up/popped my HG on my RS that has a very similar 2.3 EB so it's not exactly left a good taste in my mouth

Would get some coils and wheels and call it a day

When I see comments worrying about mpg and saving money here and there I cant help but roll my eyes at the need for changing daily drivers every year. It makes no sense. An EB mustang will be far less fun than the tuned FIST. JMO. That ST looks awesome.

My buddy literally just bought one a couple of weeks ago. Had 20k on the clock. His is a convertible. He daily drives it unless it's crappy out and takes the truck to work.
The digital dash is nuts! So nice. Killer interior.

The car I really want to DD is an 18 A10 GT.

Just got to wait until they depreciate enough to be in my DD budget

I’m on my second FiST and it really is a hoot. I do plan on a big turbo, but not this year.

I loved my FoST. It was a great car and comfortable to boot. Kind of took the smallness edge off the FiST but still had that fun driver feeling. They're cheap now too

Going to keep the Fiesta for another year.

I sold my RS because I thought it was going to blow up with the tune. The Ecoboost Mustang would be the same deal haha

I probably wouldn't get an EB mustang..

I wouldn't even let my wife get one but I like her FiST so much I have to actively talk myself out of buying a second one.
