I can't bring myself to knowingly support someone with what I deem radical views or actions.
That's like giving a known child molester a ride. I don't agree with that view or action, will not support.
That bastard will continue walking.
Big corporations that fund stupidity? I'd rather not support them financially.

Id give one a ride to the middle of nowhere and drop their sorry ass off and let them fend for themselves

Companies should expect a negative impact when they become political. You will always alienate someone.

Target, Dicks, Buffalo wild wings, and most establishments with a Texas 30.06 sign.

I see absolutely no reason for my money to be transferred and used to fund organizations that are trying to restrict my rights.

Quite the opposite. It is marketing, pure and simple. Nike/Ben and Jerry are two that are super effective on the left and Hobby Lobby/Chic Filet are two that are super effective on the right. Th tears of those outside the target market drive sales.....

I would argue that Hobby Lobby and Chic Filet do not get political.

Someone is always alienated? Not sure how else to say when you give your opinion there is always someone to disagree. Now the person that disagrees has a reason to not go there. Bad for business.

Nike sales exploded to upside after the Kap ad. Hobby Lobby made a huge fuss about not offering contraceptives as part of its health plan and advertises that it is closed on Sunday for sake of its employee's family time. Both are examples of gratuitous virtue signaling.

The point of alienating the other guy is that most people cannot articulate what they stand for but they know what they do not stand for. Pissing off the guy that your customer does not agree with drives the potential customer into your corner as he now identifies with your brand. It is marketing 101.

Like I said, Hobby Lobby did not get political. They won a court case ....... Against the government.

I see lots of people in this thread that say they will no longer buy Nike. The hype gained from Kap will end and those people will go back to their flip flops.

Use a straight edge or a real double edge. Practice on your arm or leg or privates and then go for the throat.
That's what I'm afraid of. I always go for the throat first. lol

Right. So, are there companies which make decent products that you won’t buy due to company politics?

I figured my point was pretty clear.

Does the product perform well, do I like it, do I see value in it? Then I buy it. I don't give a shit about the rest of it.

Apple lost me as a customer when iOS11 brought my iPhone battery life to 30 minutes. I did every tweak possible and can only squeeze about an hour out now. Plus, some idiot yuppie programmer at Apple thought it'd be wise to add PAID SERVICE buttons all over the place when you're trying to do simple commands.

I'm also vehemently against Goodwill. Do not "donate" anything to those crooked bastards. It'd be a difficult contest to determine which is more crooked- Goodwill or DNC.

Apple. Years ago for the phones, but didn't like their sales tactics of holding back features unless you bought the S/4/5/6 etc...Updates definitely made the phone slower.
Jail broke them for a bit then got the Note for the pen. Have no reason to go back.

Hoping to stay off energy drinks(Rockstar/Bang). Eventually make me crash in a few hours so what good was it for other than taste/the "high".

Haven't stepped foot in a Dick's Sporting Goods since their CEO went anti-2A, Nike can suck it, and I've bought my last Gillette product. I may have bought my last pair of Levi's too.

It's not about being a snowflake, and it's not about companies having an opinion...even though as an entity and not a person or panel, how does a company have an opinion? Anyway, what it's about is, in a competitive marketplace where I can find alternative products at like quality and prices, I refuse to give my money to the ones that turn around and use it to actively lobby against my interests. Dick's used my money to hire anti-2a lobbyists. Levi's used my money to fund Bloomberg's crusade. Gilette used my money to further cowtow to a mindset that wants me extinct. And Nike used my money to further promote the actively anti-white, actively anti-police BLM movement.
