Damn,........I wish I paid that much for my 2016 truck!!! lol
I pay over 1,500 a year. Clean driving record and no accidents. Insured with Liberty Mutual and I have great coverage. Plus, it's bank owned.

I just switched TO Liberty Mutual from AllState about 4 months ago.

Over 1600 a year? Are you a 16 year old felon with a DUI? Damn...

I was getting hammered worse than I thought until we switched. Keep in mind these are all full coverage with $500 deductibles and home owners as well. Wife and I are 32/33

Looks great! I actually don't like the auto start/stop feature. I can tell when it shuts off.

I think Ford should have made it where you push a button to activate it, not disable it.

I can now too Brady. Never happens in the afternoon because of the AC on outside temps.

Yeah a lot of factors play a role I guess on when it will shut off. I can see the benefits if a person is in stop and go traffic. But I live in a small town.

I basically turn it off as soon as I start the truck. Just like when I had to turn off traction control in the cobra. Same thing, lol.

Disable it with FORScan!

Uh oh! There's that word again!!

My only thing with the auto start stop is it seems like a good way to eat starters. Maybe they designed one designed to operate much more frequently than a standard starter, but I kinda doubt it.

I've done a little digging, some have said the starter was designed or built for it. I have seen zero proof on that though.

46 years old, accident free and ticket free. Full coverage on the truck as the bank still owns it and the coverage is above what is needed.
I have a 500 dollar deductible as well. It may be the area in that I am in like someone posted above. SVTP baller status. LMFAO

That’s out of control.

I’d at least call and ask for a re-evaluation. Liberty Mutual cut my payments by over half from All-State. I never considered location affecting rates like that though, so you and the aforementioned poster must be on to something.

More then a few car companies are using start stop technology and I’ve yet to hear of any starter related issues.

AGM or Absorbent Glass Mat is an advanced lead-acid battery that provides superior power to support the higher electrical demands of today’s vehicles and start-stop applications.

AGM batteries are extremely resistant to vibration, are totally sealed, nonspillable and maintenance-free. AGM offers better cycling performance, minimal gassing and acid leakage when compared with conventional lead-acid batteries.

The end result of all of the features of AGM technology is superior life performance.

AGM Battery Construction
In AGM batteries, the positive and negative plates are separated by an absorbent glass mat that absorbs and holds the battery’s acid and prevents it from flowing freely inside the battery. The plates are tightly compressed into each cell and held under pressure in the plastic case. The internal compression limits the shedding of plate material caused by cycling and allows for significantly longer life. The element compression also lowers internal resistance and maximizes pulse power output. A rigid container maintains the necessary compression throughout the battery’s life.

The basic design also includes relief venting to release pressure from minor gassing that occurs during charging. The valves open at low pressure and close automatically to prevent air from leaking into the battery.

AGM Battery Benefits
Up to 2x longer life than standard flooded batteries
Designed for harsh climates and demanding conditions
Handles high electrical loads
Quickly recharges and extends cycle life
Ideal for start-stop applications
Vibration resistance
Nonspillable and maintenance-free
Greater mounting flexibility
AGM Battery Disadvantages
Higher initial investment

We are turning this cool truck thread into an insurance derail......Part of the benefit of being a MAhole, the socioeconomic factors play into your rate schedule. If you live in Charlestown with a 2014 Mustang GT your going to pay a lot more than I do with a 2014 GT since i live in a back holler town between Sturbridge and Springfield. Full coverage is $782 for me on mine, we are essentially the same age and driving record. When relatives got jobs and moved inside 495 they often “garaged”their cars at their relatives house as a huge savings. Of course that’s not legal and I don’t promote that behavior. We are a commonwealth of laws, just ask the MSP.
