I don’t buy the modded means headaches thing.

Bought my car with the 2.9, magnum, and rxt. Drove the shit out of it for years.

Did the ftbr kit. Drove it more.

Went to E85 and upped the boost.
Drove it more. I’ve actually driven it more in the last year than in the previous 5 of owning it. Hasn’t skipped a beat.

Bought it at 78k and just turned 94k. You’d never know it looking at it or riding in it though. Did 80-120/140 3 times in a row on the freeway last week and didn’t skip a beat! Puts around in stop and go traffic better than my focus.

I used to drive mine so much more. The last few years not so much, but I have added some other cars to the stable as well. I would say I drive it about just often enough to burn the old gas that is getting stale in the tank.......

When I do take it out on a nice day I reminisce of the days in my 20's when I had just bought the car brand new and all the girls I would take for rides in it and how I had my whole life ahead of me and I knew everything.

And than after those feeling come I than start having thoughts of all the things I still want to improve on the car, and that I am nearing 40 and still feel like a 20 year old, but have learned I don't know everything.

I love the car. I do wish I drove it more. But life happens and practicality takes place too, and My Ford explorer just has so much more room in it for daily things and people instead of just girls now ;).
I turned 40 back in March and I still tend to forget how old I am. Whether it's the Cobra or my truck.

I drive mine as much as I can really. My son and I cruised to a car meet this morning. Really the only issue is having to move the wife's car to get mine out of the garage. If I'm in a hurry I'll just take my truck. But if I have time or want to take it to work I'll move her car or give her the garage for the night.

I think the cobra takes years off.

Vert i try to drive every Sunday.

Coupe I drive at night if I need to go some place.

Fusion is my work car.

Both Cobras will probably see 1000 miles a year. Coupe is just south of 200k, Vert is at 53k I think.

I bought mine in 08 with 30,xxx miles. It has 107,xxx on it now. It was my dd for about 4-5 years. It was down for awhile in 16 for a motor build. Now its down for an auto swap. I love driving the car but the more I drive it the slower it feels lol

Perfect. I need to know more about your insurance guys. I have a 04 vert. It's been down for 3+ years. I also have a 70 Boss, down 15-20++. I have Hagerty's. I'm paying basically $500. a year for both, with roadside insurance at $150.(included above). This is only for Comp. only. What are your companies, and could you define cheap?
