AWD shouldn't happen to a Mustang. German muscle is NOT what many of us want in American muscle.
If you want big power AWD, you're paying outside the Mustang range and it just changes the dynamic. I enjoy the respect big power RWD takes, but my wife can drive an AWD 10sec RS7. No challenge, gets boring quick.
Just my opinion.
The SVT/Cobra/GT500 plan works, no need to change.
I would be on board with a 'Cobra roadster/Pantera' special deal AWD to slot between GT500 and the GT, to compete with ZR1 etc in the 100k arena. I'm guessing a pipe dream at this point, we will all be satisfied with the next GT500 from what I've heard/seen.

Agreed. I see both sides of the mark up game but if I could go back I would’ve bought one of 2 Demon offered at MSRP. I bought my ‘14 under MSRP and don’t mind waiting a year on the next GT500 if ADM crazy. We will see what the new gt500 will cost to determine what type of reality of price its in compared to what you get from a German manufacture. Its really all the market up's that they do in the beginning of releasing that is totally bs for these "special mustangs". Same concept say of the Demon, its 100k and you get a hellcat basiclly for 50-60k. Its the beginning bs that I don't like that Ford and Dodge dealers do more over then even GMC/Chevy. Regardless these 3 manufactures know how to make a lot of cars quickly these days. You see how many Demon's they made like over 3k, wow that's not special imo. Back in the days of the Cobra r's there were like 300 or something.

A TVS2650 blown 5.2 would make 750hp easily. Combined with DCT and RWD and I’m all in, just hoping for well under 4000#.The GT500 better be at least 750 hp and I hope it does not cost an arm and a let like the Demon and ZR1.

Dilly dilly sir
Id be perfectly happy with a 18+ GT with the 10 speed and a Whipple. Close enough to a GT500 IMO.
Gen 3 TVS makes the turbo idea a tougher sell.
Depends on your goals with car, but there's a fine line when you will have to build the motor or upgrade many things vs a base TVS swap and run 9.5s without as much worries.
I'll be interested to see what you decide man!
