It's interesting that it doesn't appear to be DI.

Probably didn't want it putting out more soot than a diesel. You haven't lived life until you've rolled coal in an EcoBoost Mustang.

Lol. It's a bit of a joke based on all the arm chair engineers on this forum.

Fail. Not worth it without DI.

DI is great, but it has some serious draw backs at this point - lack of fuel headroom, and dirty valves. The EB uses a pseudo miller cycle effect to attempt to keep the valves clean, but it hinders the MPG ... i imagine this thing needed all the help it could get to begin with in the MPG department.

That's my speculation at least. With the GT and mustang GT going to both port and DI, i'd imagine this isnt far behind if it sticks around.

That's my view on the blower design. It was made with an eye towards adding the GT's dual fuel system setup in the future.

Possibly, but that would come from SA, as they own the right to the KR I believe.

Being Ford has already made a KR model I’d say they own the rights to the name or they might be paying a fee to use the name.

Pick your poison.

They would have to pay a fee. Shelby has always owned the KR nameplate. For has never held it. That is their money maker at SA. Doing conversions is nothing but profit for them.

Cobra jets run a similar engine with 11:1 and over 1000hp.

Let this gt500 handily top a hellcat, and release a 900hp or 1000hp KR.
