Hey Gang,

I'm leaning heavily on getting rid of my Subaru outback and getting something sportier and with more luxury. Here are my requirements.

1. Somewhat fast BUT good in the snow as well

2. AWD

3. 4 doors as I have 5 going on 6 kids...I won't ever haul them all in it, but the wife will bitch if it doesn't have 4 doors.

Here is my short list...

1. Porsche Panamera AWD...can't decide on if i'd get the base 6 banger or ass ripping v8. Much cheaper to get the 6 awd but is it that much fast than my Subaru with just 300hp...does anyone know if the awd 8 cylinder is any good in the snow?

2. Audi A8

3. Jaguar XF AWD 3.0

4. Focus RS...way too small to really be considered but it's on my mind...

Help me out! The Subaru has been great...I have the 3.6R engine and it's peppy, but not very exciting.

Not sure what to get...you guys helped me pick the ZR1 a few months back, so I figure I would reach out again.

Thanks!

I just had a Panamera in the shop for servicing, and boy they’re expensive to maintain.

Stay away from Europe unless you have deep pockets or buy the car under warranty.
I’d go with an AWD charger, LS460 AWD or a SHO.
I agree. EU cars are piles of expensive shit.

BMW 5 series Twin Power 6 with Xdrive or 550i with XDrive. Quietest car i’ve driven...add harmon kardon sound and other options.

Check out the new QX30. I just got one in and drove it the last two nights and it is a nice little AWD hatch for 29k MSRP. Has a 2.0t and for 208hp and 258ft lbs of torque it scoots really well. It feels much sportier than it really is and so far I like everything about it, especially for the price. I just read up on it and I guess it is based off the Mercedes GLA which is given away by the key fob. I would go check it out, but with a 0-60 of 6.3 it isn't the fastest.
