Not sure if that was like that during the failure or not but I'm guessing that's the two cables between bat and fuse box and bat and starter.

If you just stuff the cable into the connection you probably have enough to engage the starter solenoid (click) but not crank.

I'd suggest using two separate lugs to connect the two cables; never holds when you do what they did there.

I'd also suggest going back and giving them a big wtf if the shop did that. Fire hazard

So how do you think i should connects the wires because the wire is a 1/0 gauge wire its pretty big

Ya went back and saw it's one wire to two. You could either solder and heat shrink or buy individual lugs with and eyelet on bolt them together. Autozone has a selection of eyelets by the battery area. Won't be the prettiest but I've had trouble soldering stuff that is that big.

You can mount something like this for a cleaner install. Helps to get the tension off the crimp too; secure the cable a few inches before the crimp so the weight of the cable isn't pulling on it.

I was going to say bad connections at the starter but since you have a wiring tuck mod, it could be literally anything.

As for the way to repair that connection, I suggest soldering it. You can get metal connectors that you can heat up and fill with solder and then shove the wire into. Heat shrink the connection once done and call it good.

Yes or solder the two together and then hook the single wire to the two newly soldered wires.

Lots of ways to do it, the way it was is a total no no.

The original starter wire should be long enough to run up by the fuse box; there's a big lug there you could join everything at.

Im confused the starter wire is the red wire coming out the wiring harness right? And what lug to connect it?

Ive never had an issue crimping ONE wire/cable. Two never holds correclty; you just can't get a good crimp. On yours, you can see they crimped it onto one, then tried to recrimp the other side. This made the other side loose and it just never holds.

Not sure if that setup CJ posted will work with two cables going into one end.

Im just guessing one what those wires are for; the two single red cables appear to be the factory cables that would have attached to the fuse box and starter; originally ran from the battery. Guessing the big cable that still has the copper crimped connector is from you battery.

I think you need to read up on "battery relocation" that would help you get whats going on better then us trying to explain it to you.

Lol the battery relocation was already done im just having a issue with the car getting no power inside because of the ground as soon as i connect my jumper to the ground everything powers up

How can i test my starter if it getting enough power and also i cut the connection off the connection it was solid when i had the wires inside the connector

Geez. Well guessing from the connection you pictured I have a pretty good idea whats wrong with the ground. Just trace it from the battery and see where it goes.

The ground from the battery? Lol the ground for the battery is on the subframe on the back of the car it doesn’t go up to the fuse box only the 1/0 power wires goes up to the fuse box
