What?

Number of shots fired and number fatalities indicates he simply pointed the gun I. The general direction of a crowd of people and fired.

Had he used a scope and a 308, he’d have killed a person with damn near every squeeze of the trigger at 500 yards elevated up 100 yards up.
You could but you aren't going to be hitting center of the crowd if you are just putting an Eotech reticle on them. You would have to offset a lot to make it go where you wanted. Again, for a guy who picked a perfect perch and has other scoped weapons around, there is no way that was realistically used as the gun ot choice to hit the crowd. It's not happening. Will wait for details to find out if he used it against police in the doorway.

400-500 yards away... yes you do. With an Eotech you would be shooting blindly. This shooter was not aiming blindly when he dropped rounds into the heaviest populated part of the crowd dead center towards the front.

Excellent. Let’s cut off that leg and get out of the bear trap.

Stupidest thing ever to begin with.

Edit: also, that’s something the ATF can do unilaterally since they are the ones that approved it in the first place.

Agreed. Couldn't care less if they were banned.

2 shooters or just echos from the gun being fired from outside the window vs inside the room?

so he's just purely evil? That the basis we're going off of now?

In all honesty, I wouldn't be surprised if authorities never find anything that will lead to a motive. He might of wanted it that way. Having everyone wondering why he did it. Who knows. One things for sure he's a crazy **** and is hopefully in hell right now.

Inside job, with no way to prove it. The motive is bigger than us. It's a power play by the US Government.

Spend the rest of your life in prison or do this one little thing for us. They probably had him bent over on tax evasion or something crazier.

Most likely he was a Hilary nut, felt he was righteous in sacrificing his life and others to push gun control. The shit worked.

Why video tape it though? He had a camera on him. Was he streaming it?

Been seeing these photos around and had a few thought. Im starting to get really skeptical about this. Guy knows enough to set up the perfect machine gun perch, but feels he needs 20+ rifles? You'd only be able to use maybe 3 or 4 weapons for what he was doing. The rifle shown above has an Eotech. How is an Eotech going to help you at 500 yards? The actul scoped rifle with bipods that would work is not a bumpfire.

I just think it is odd that a guy who knows what he was doing felt he needed more guns than he could handle. Guns that are equipped with every accessory in the book that will surely make headlines for some time to come. If a bill comes up, which it will, they will zero in on everything he had and want to ban it.

Also to note. Apparently the weapons of choice were Daniel Defense and FN15s.

Look at the branding for both companies

FN- The worlds most battle proven firearms

Daniel Defense - Milspec+

Both feed into the democrats favorite "Weapons or war" speal.

Nothing about this shooting fits the narrative of the last dozen, nothing.

I would think in a casino hotel, with the most advanced technology available doesn't have a sensor if a window is broken?

So he wasn't politically involved or religious, and 20+ rifles.

I thought the pauses in firing were either bump stock or he had military training and was preventing overheating.

I'm the furthest thing from a tinfoil wearing conspiracy nut but this screams Clinton. Keep pushing the fact he purchased them all legally, modified them legally, passed every background check etc.

I believe there will be many questioning the official story, myself included. The fact that there even is an official story right now is worth questioning.

EDIT: I did not realize quotes from other thread ended up here, have removed those that had nothing to do with this thread.

Closer than I thought it would be. What about elevation shooting at a downward angle?

Not really an issue. It’s an area target and like fish in a barrel: you might not hit the specific person you’re aiming at, but odds are you’ll hit something. There were 22,000 in attendance that evening.

True. I have to step back because I'm overthinking it. I shoot to hit specific targets, but this guy didn't need to to accomplish his goal.
