It's the supposed time for the R. Ford never released any test times.

The zl11le1l1le is fast. It's nice to know gm can still cheat with the best of lamborghini and the rest.

Wow the 991.2 GT3 is smoking! 7.12.7!! Not bad for 500hp n/a spinning 9k and weighing 3150lbs.

impressive for sure but any youtube video I watch they get spanked on the street so I guess if ur into going round and round for 10 minutes its a great car.... I do LOL at the exotics it beats tho!

what makes it even funnier is that the Dodge DEMON is actually more practical then the ZR1 is.

how many ZR1 drivers are gonna go to a roundy-round track and race their cars? how many really? 1% maybe if that!

when the ZR1 driver states his car is faster then most of the exotics that aint gonna mean shit when some mustang with a blower blows past him like he's standing still on the street cause THAT is where your car will be tested not at some race track.

at least with a DEMON its designed to kick ass on the street and go fast straight like everyone else does on the street.... I have probably 8 friends that hav fast ass cars and none of them drive around in circles for hours.

the only ppl that really care how fast a car goes around a track for hours are Nascar fans.

They've obviously achieved adequate heat rejection to allow the FI to work to its potential (not easy to do). And they've balanced the aero well - the car is drag limited at about 168 mph.

Not this driver's first rodeo - he knew where to apply and release the brakes, and when to change gears.

At a couple of places I thought about how, without a proper cage, a fifth gear off would be a very bad day.

And I agree with ZYBORG, that:

Never drove a Z28 but I can tell you even with my Shelby, I still miss the crap out of my 5g 1LE.

It's funny how you have more fun driving a slower car but spend all your time giving crap to those who say the exact same thing! Pot meet Kettle.

Best driving car regardless of price....you're right we should not go there...

We are talking about ZL1 1LEs, not ZR1s. I do get your argument though and the same point can made for the 350 and 350R. Very few of these owners will likely put these cars thru their paces at a road course and with good reason. Don't ever take a car to a track day that you can't afford to leave there.

The ZL1 is impressive, but comparing its run to that ACR run isn't very accurate. The 2010 run is essentially the same car and ran 10 seconds faster than the 2009 attempt.

If I was in the market for a brand new pony car, this one would be at the top of the list. Unfortunately for me, I'm too poor to buy brand new cars of this caliber.

The ILE package costs $7500 and they are holding production to 750 so I don't think you are going to see price drops anytime soon.

Fyi, in case I havent said it enough already, I absolutely would drive the hell out of a 350 and/or 350R. I really like those cars. Im just not stupid enough, to be blind to other better performing products.
